Disney’s Animal Kingdom Maybe we’re a bit biased, but we love that we can get up close and personal with so many animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park! Because of the animals, it has the shortest operating hours of any of the theme parks. It also has fewer attractions than at the other Walt Disney World® Resort theme parks, making it possible to experience Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park’s main attractions in one day, with plenty of time to explore the animal exhibits. Guests will find the shortest wait times by arriving ahead of official park opening and in the last few hours before the park closes. Much like Magic Kingdom® Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park is set up in a spoke and hub formation, with the majestic Tree of Life® Attraction at the center. Most of the character greeting locations are dispersed throughout the park. Mickey and Minnie have a dedicated greeting location at Adventurer’s Outpost and waits can get quite long for them. If this is a priority, we recommend making it a first stop or using it as a FastPass+ selection.
