Este distrito de la provincia de Pisco se ubica a 3 horas al sur de Lima y promete dejarlo boquiabierto por la belleza de sus playas, por la diversidad de su fauna, por lo increíble de sus dunas de arena y por las muchas actividades acuáticas que se practican en su bahía. Paracas is a synonym for sea, winds and nature. A district of the province of Pisco, it is located 3 hours south of Lima. The breathtaking beauty of its beaches, the diversity of its fauna, incredible dunes and many other water activities practiced on the bay render this site the perfect place to rest, to fall in love and to take adrenalin to the highest level.
ISLAS BALLESTAS BALLESTAS ISLANDS Descubra las Islas Ballestas y disfrute de una diversa y peculiar fauna costera, en cualquiera de las dos salidas diarias. El recorrido por las islas le permitirá admirarse con los sonidos de los lobos de mar, ver muy de cerca a los pingüinos de Humboldt y diversas aves guaneras. En el camino, tendrá la oportunidad de apreciar el famoso Candelabro, un enorme y misterioso geoglifo impreso sobre la arena costera. Discover the Ballestas Islands and enjoy a peculiar and diverse coastal fauna. The two-hour journey round the islands will astound you as you hear the wolf-pack cries of the sea lions and see the Humboldt penguins and the guano birds. On the way to the islands you will be able to appreciate the magnificence of the “Candelabro” (the Candlestick), an enormous and mysterious geoglyph carved on the sands. Be a part of the mystery of the Nazca Lines during a one-hour-forty flight. These incredible lines and designs, some of which are 300 m. long, can be appreciated from 1500 ft. high on an exclusive Cessna Caravan airliner that departs from Pisco airport. The lines comprise simple as well as complex zoomorphic designs that represent more than 30 animals such as the monkey, the spider and the humming bird, among others. RESERVA NACIONAL DE PARACAS PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE TOUR La Reserva Nacional de Paracas, con sus 335 mil hectáreas, es el lugar soñado para los amantes de la naturaleza. Descubra paisajes marinos, un árido desierto y una fauna muy diversa en este paso obligado para aves migratorias. Si tiene suerte, también podrá ver al cóndor andino, al pingüino de Humboldt, así como tortugas, delfines, flamencos y otras especies. The Paracas National Reserve extends 335,000 ha, 250 km south of Lima. It is the perfect place for nature lovers. Come and take a ride while discovering marine landscapes, an arid desert and a very diverse fauna in this regional reserve for migratory birds. If you are lucky enough you will see the incredible species of fauna, such as the Andean condor, Humboldt penguin, turtles, dolphins, flamingos and many others. Punto de inicio de los tours: lobby del Hotel Paracas, a Luxury Collection Resort. Todos los tours incluyen traslados, ticket de ingreso a lugares de interés histórico o cultural, guía oficial de turismo en inglés o español, pilotos o patrón de embarcación según actividad. Los traslados al/del aeropuerto de Pisco para sobrevolar las Líneas de Nazca, están incluidos en la tarifa únicamente para los huéspedes del Hotel Paracas. La intensidad de los tours ha sido fijada teniendo como base una persona de 40 años que goza de buena salud. La duración de los mismos está en función a las condiciones climáticas y de ruta. Actividades de 6 horas o más se consideran como full day. Los capitanes que manejan las lanchas y el yate, así como los que pilotean el avión de T’ikariy, son profesionales certificados de amplia experiencia. Las embarcaciones cuentan con chalecos salvavidas, comunicación constante con el puerto y víveres de emergencia. Las camionetas 4 x 4 que se utilizan en el desierto cuentan con aire acondicionado, cinturones de seguridad, llantas Mud Terraine, gancho frontal de remolque, compresora de aire, luces Helias para conducción nocturna, GPS, botiquín de emergencia y extintores de incendios. La avioneta que sobrevuela las Líneas de Nazca es una Cessna Grand Caravan del 2008, con todos sus mantenimientos en regla. Únicamente la Aventura en el Desierto, Yate full day y Yate half day incluyen algún tipo de alimentos y bebidas. Todas las actividades están sujetas a disponibilidad.
Tour starting point: Hotel Paracas, a Luxury Collection Resort lobby. All tours include transfers, entrance tickets to places of historical or cultural interest, official tour guide in English or Spanish, pilots or boatmaster according to the activity. Transfers to / from the airport of Pisco to fly over the Nazca Lines are included in the price only for guests of the Hotel Paracas. The intensity level of the tours has been determined considering a healthy 40-year-old individual. The duration of the tours depend on the weather and route conditions. A Full Day package lasts 6 hours or more. The captains of the boats and the yacht, as well as the pilots of the T’ikariy plane, are all certified and have a broad experience. All vessels are equipped with life jackets and emergency food provisions. There is constant communication with the port. The 4-wheeled trucks used in the desert are equipped with air conditioning system, seal belts, Mud Terrain tires, front tow hooks, progressive springs, Hella headlamps for night driving, GPS system, first-aid kits and fire extinguishers. The airliner flying over the Nasca Lines is a 2008 Cessna Grand Caravan, with all aircraft maintenance checks. Only the Desert Adventure Tour, the Full day Yacht Tour and Half Day Yacht Tour include some meals and beverages. All activities are subject to availability.
