If you are a member with a Freedom or Liberty plan, you may benefit from a lower costshare when choosing freestanding facilities rather than hospitals. If you are enrolled in an Oxford Metro product, you may use these facilities but you may not benefit from a lower cost-share. We encourage you to choose more cost-effective, freestanding facilities, rather than hospitals, for radiology services and outpatient surgery. A freestanding facility is an outpatient facility, or a diagnostic or ambulatory center listed in this directory. At a freestanding facility, your deductible and coinsurance still apply. You should check your health plan benefit information documents for more details.
