Supports multi-post cases and parallel core design With Dental System’s™ 3D design tools the technician can easily design 2 or more Post and Cores that are perfectly parallel. Additionally, the software provides full support for multi-post cases. Dental System™ automatically creates the first post, and then sets perfectly positioned and aligned insertion channels for the others – ensuring easy mounting of the restoration in the patient’s mouth.
3Shape Scan Posts for optimal fit and high accuracy TM
3Shape specially designed Scan Posts™ facilitate accurate capture of Post and Core positions and depths. The Scan Posts™ are approved both for intraoral use and model scanning. They are autoclavable and support all major drill supplier systems. Patent Pending.
Wide range of Post and Core indications 3Shape’s Post and Core solution allows technicians to design all types of Post and Core cases including Post and Core for standard crowns, single- piece retained crowns and anatomical single-piece retained crowns that are cutback for veneering.
Design digital models for Post and Core cases ®
Based on TRIOS digital impressions or impression scans, technicians use 3Shape model builder to design excellent lab models for Post and Core cases, ready for output on digital model-making machines. Digitally trim the scan, add articulator interface, and automatically engrave case data on the model.
