Device Registration Walkthrough

www.carconnection-elite.com Congratulations! On your Car Connection EliteTM purchase. Now let’s register the device so you can start to monitor, manage, and maintain your vehicle. Open your web browser, and go to www.carconnection-elite.com

Click “Activate Device” Once clicked, you will be directed to the registration portal where you will complete your activation.

Start Your Registration Once you have read the quick reference guide included with your device press “Activate”.

Device(s) Screen IMEI Number Enter the IMEI number for your device. The 15 digit number should look similar to this example : 8623730200xxxxx

* TIP: The device IMEI is located on the white label on your device and the back left of the package.

Click “Okay” when ready

Properly add your user information, enter your email and create a password. Note: Your email and the password that you selected will be your log in credentials going forward

Use the slider to access the detailed instructions Please follow the steps to activate your device; the device activation may take up to 15 minutes. 1. Once your account is set up, plug the Car Connection Elite device into your vehicle’s OBDII port. In most vehicles, this can be located under the driver’s side dash. 2. Start the vehicle; you should see 3 Flashing LEDs on the device approximately 1 minute after the vehicle ignition was turned ON. Once the RED & YELLOW LED's stop flashing and are solid and the GREEN LED is blinking slowly, the device is successfully activated. 3. If for any reason you do NOT see the LEDS flashing after this process, unplug the device wait for 10 seconds and repeat steps 1 and 2. .

Vehicle and Driver Information Add your vehicle and driver information (the driver could be different than the account holder). The VIN is a 17 digit number most commonly located on the dashboard (you can see it through the windshield) and the driver's side door jamb sticker. Other locations for the VIN is the engine, hood, or other parts as well as car titles, insurance policies and vehicle service records. Note: It’s very important to have all of this information as accurate as possible to ensure the maintenance reminders, fuel calculations and drivers scoring are properly reported.

Zoomsafer® Screen Your Car Connection Elite system allows you add the ZoomSafer cell phone restriction feature at no additional cost. ZoomSafer restricts phone usage while driving to help ensure safe, legal and undistracted driving. Once selected, ZoomSafer will automatically activate through your Car Connection device when you turn your vehicle on and will deactivate when the trip is complete. Click the “Next “ to continue

Zoomsafer® Screen To activate the Zoomsafer application for your Android™ or BlackBerry® Phone simply go the settings section of the website and click the “Set up Zoomsafer” button highlighted in Blue .

Zoomsafer® Screen Once your Zoomsafer account is activated, you can add 3 white listed phone numbers that will not be blocked when that specific caller calls the users phone. .

Activation Complete : Once your account is set up, plug the Car Connection device into your vehicle. Follow the steps below: 1. Now that your device is plugged in, the wireless activation can take up to 5 minutes. 2.
