who we are The principals of our development group, Sidney Rosenthal, Jonathan Miller, and Adam Courtney, combine the wisdom and experience of two 40-year careers assembling sites for development throughout Manhattan, and the enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit of a young career in real estate development. Land is at a premium in the City. It takes a keen understanding of the process of developing sites to maximize value—and the ability to manage the myriad details in accomplishing the transaction to achieve that goal.

what we do

Lee NYC Development locates suitable sites available for development or in need of redevelopment. We recognize opportunity in underutilized parcels or properties. We rely on our relationships to attract developers appropriate and capable of developing particular sites for investors and owners to achieve their financial objectives.

what we’ve done

Our history and reputation were forged by accomplishing some of Manhattan’s most notable site assemblages, land sales, and developments, including The Sony Building, 9 West 57th Street, Park Avenue Tower, Barney’s, Nike Town, and numerous high-rise office buildings and apartments. We have been active in every area of Manhattan—in some cases, re-selling developed sites many times over as owners change their investment needs.

how we’ve done it Our expertise—beyond that acquired by sheer experience—lies in a vision for a property and a creative approach in turning that vision into a profitable reality. We have sold and developed every conceivable type of property for every type of client, including US and foreign government entities, not-for-profit organizations, for-profit organizations, investment partnerships, and single-site owners. We have the experience to create a unique development strategy. We are dedicated to delivering excellent results in terms of design, construction, budget, and return on investment. We expect nothing less from our developer relationships and will promise nothing less to our clients.
