PARTNER FOR ADVANCED CARE AND TRAINING Detente has partnered with Eastern New Mexico University - Roswell (ENMU-R) to provide advanced telemedicine and remote medical support anywhere in the world. Through this reachback support, Detente assures its customers there is no diagnosis too difficult and no emergency that cannot be addressed. ENMU-R also provides Detente with sponsorship, quality assurance, instructor development and certification administration for all courses provided by the American Heart Association (AHA), National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) and the Volunteer Fireman’s Insurance Corporation (VFIS). Detente is the go-to provider of medical services for the U.S. Armed Forces in Afghanistan. Most recently, Detente has provided emergent and clinical medical services for Army and Marine Corps operations in the Helmand province. The company completed its mobilization and transition 6 days ahead of schedule and was responsible for a 24/7/365 Emergency Medical Services (EMS) capability and associated supply chain that supported up to 40,000 Coalition contractors and personnel. Detente exceeded expectations because of its well-established relationships with regional and local partners, a practice common to our operations regardless of the geography. Detente also provides remote medical and clinical support to companies delivering Foreign Military Sales (FMS) in Iraq. For example, at Balad Air Base we deliver advanced medical services via Physician Assistants (PA) to multiple organizations and agencies as we serve on the frontline of expeditionary medical support. Our solution is intentionally designed to scale up and down as requirements and needs dictate, such that we can offer highly-effective yet cost conscious support.

MEDICAL In addition to delivering expert medical care, Detente senior medical staff also delivers training and support services to other foreign government organizations looking to bolster their own capabilities. Most recently, Detente delivered national certification in basic and advanced medical topics to the Colombian National Police (CNP). Detente worked in close cooperation with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). As a result of this successful collaboration, the CNP has expanded its relationship with Detente to include recurrent medical training cycles. As a niche offering, Detente also provides the CNP with pilot ground school and flight training based on the unique experience of our senior leadership team and strategic partners.

AVIATION FAA Certified Flight Instructors Detente’s Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) and Aviation Program Director is an experienced U.S. Air Force veteran who retired from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a Supervisory Aviation Safety Inspector with over 31 years of federal service, 12 of which was in the Flight Standards International Field Office (Miami IFO - Latin America, Central America, Caribbean, OECS and Bahamas). He has logged over 10,000 hours on a considerable number of various aircraft types. Our CFI is also a Designated Pilot Examiner able to conduct foreign pilot license conversions. Our CFI’s full resume is available upon request. Our flight instructors are experienced, professional commercial and/or ex-military pilots with years of experience flying various fixed wing and helicopter missions. Most instructors have several thousands of flight hours on average and hold Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFI-II) ratings. Some have their Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificates and are all fully capable of transferring knowledge and experiences to their students. Additionally, Detente’s flight training staff are exceptionally suited to train both local U.S. students and international students, and our multicultural staff has the ability to provide all training in the customer's native language. Because every single student is important to us, we select dedicated and professional staff that have a passion to help, teach and develop superior aviation foundations. Training At our training center in Miami, Florida our staff of rotorary and fixed wing CFI-II’s deliver Advanced Aircraft and Helicopter Flight Training for Instrument Recurrent Training, IMC, CRM, Turbine Transition, Insurance Certifications and many other courses. These courses include scenario-based training for general aviation, military, law enforcement, offshore and EMT operations as well as several other specialized courses. Year Round Flying Weather is such an important factor when selecting a flight school as it can delay training. Detente offers flying over 360 days a year. Due to our South Florida location, the weather provides a great flight environment with little or no concerns for scheduling. Airports Our flight school is located at Miami Executive Airport. Miami Executive Airport features an FAA Control Tower within a Class Delta airspace. This airport offers a top quality training environment. Detente's controlled flight environment features over 15 airports within close proximity which allows for easy and attractive cross-country destinations such as Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, Key West and Gainesville.

Simulator Training Detente only uses FAA Certified Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) simulators. AATD simulators are the most advanced Aviation Training Devices (ATD) available and have performance characteristics beyond the alternate Basic Aviation Training Devices (BATD) approval criteria. Since it is highly desirable for the pilot to immerse themselves mentally in a realistic aircraft cockpit when using an AATD, design features significantly exceeding those of a BATD cockpit layout are critically important. Configurations are available for just about any Helo, Fast Jet or Heavy Aircraft and if the template is not available we will develop them. Various fidelity flight control packages, motion platforms and display enclosure systems can be easily integrated to the platform. AVIATION Modular Rotary Wing Simulator Detente’s Military Grade Rotary Wing Simulator is mounted on a six degree of freedom fully articulating interchangeable cockpit simulator used for advanced IFR training. This is ideal for experiencing the effects of unusual attitudes in Inadvertent Metrological Conditions (IMC) during Emergency Procedures and other situations. Cockpit includes: 270° display with dual flight control system, virtual LCD Front instrument panel, fully functional overhead switch/breaker panel, center instrument console with NAV/COM radios and built in LCD panel to display virtual GPS.

UAV Simulator Courses The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) market is out-performing all other areas of defense-related expenditure and the need for qualified, experienced and knowledgeable professionals in this field is critical. Detente’s UAV courses are designed to provide a thorough understanding of UAV basics, maintenance, operations and tasking. Supported by a number of professionals from various industries ranging aerospace, defense and law enforcement, Detente utilizes a specialized UAV simulator to reduce training costs incurred by the client. AVIATION ATC Simulator Detente conducts a wide range of Air Traffic Control (ATC) operations and management courses for controllers, airspace planners and managers, including programs on CNS/ATM systems. Realistic and practical training is provided, incorporating state-of-theart ATC training simulators. Our ATC Simulator training provides an effective environment for students to acquire hands-on training with advanced ATC systems. Students can gain experience in the safe management of both airborne and airport traffic. The nearly 38,000-square-foot training facility has both en route and terminal radar simulators and a 180-degree air traffic control tower simulator.

AVIATION Redbird LD Detente hosts three Redbird LD ATDs. The LD is non-motion FAA certified as an AATD and has all of the standard features that come with a Redbird simulator such as wrap-around visuals, realistic flight controls and interchangeable cockpits, but without the cockpit enclosure and pilot seats. Cockpit Configurations: The LD was designed to be reconfigurable, allowing Detente to meet most any fixed wing airframe the client needs. It is versatile enough to be used for single or multi-engine training and can represent glass panel aircraft as well as traditional 6-pack configurations.

Redbird FMX The Redbird FMX is a superior-quality, full motion, feature-rich AATD with standard features that are anything but standard such as wrap-around visuals, a fully enclosed cockpit, quick-change configurations, scenario-based training compatibility and of course an electric motion platform. The FMX serves up a level of realism that is simply unavailable in other training devices on the market.
