Descendants of John Bradbury Follett Compilers Note: I prepared this information from a mixture of information from Fr. Igumen Juvenaly (born John Follett Repass and noted below in generation 5 and 6). With his help (in early 2007) I was able to piece together from his records and public research some of the information, dates and notes below. I did lose some of the related data in a crash of my computer storage/backup drive. I reconstructed this document from former reports I had run from my genealogy program. Therefore, please excuse any inconsistencies in generational numbering or footnoting. I have also removed vital information regarding persons still living for privacy considerations. This data does not yet tie in directly to my family gedcom although there is little doubt in my mind that this could eventually be done if anyone out there can verify the missing links or correct mistakes in my research. I wanted to post this information because someone out there may be able to help with additional information on the persons noted below. After all - We are all related ! - Bonnie Follett, 01/21/2008.

1. JOHN BRADBURY FOLLETT was born Abt. 1795. He married ANNE LOUISE FAUNCE Abt. 1816. Notes for JOHN BRADBURY FOLLETT: I have found a John Bradbury Follett at The Daughters of the Republic of Texas website at: http://www.drt-inc.org/ancestors/anc-f.htm This J.B.F. was born 11/17/1795 in Epping, New Hampshire and died on 1/20/1864. I am not sure if the same person, but it could be possible. It would put him at 21 years of age at a possible 1816 marriage date. If the same person, that J.B. F. was noted as being the builder of the 'Lafitte', the first steamboat built in Texas. Based upon the info on the children, it appears the family travelled from New Brunswick, Canada to Massachussetts to Texas. Children of JOHN FOLLETT and ANNE LOUISE FAUNCE are: 2. i. JOHN FOWNES PRESCOTT2 FOLLETT, b. January 01, 1817, Saint Martins, Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada; d. Bef. 1892. ii. ALONZO BECKFORD FOLLETT1, b. December 01, 1819, Saint Martins, Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada; d. December 08, 1890, Brazoria, Texas. More About ALONZO BECKFORD FOLLETT: Burial: Follett Plot, San Luis Pass, Brazoria, TX iii. JULIANN E. FOLLETT1, b. October 02, 1832, Charleston, Mass.; d. September 07, 1846, Galveston, Texas. Notes for JULIANN E. FOLLETT: Not sure if Juliann Follett was a male or female. But Juliann died at age 14, while "At Sea" in the Gulf of Mexico near Galveston, Texas.

2. JOHN FOWNES PRESCOTT FOLLETT (JOHN BRADBURY ) was born January 01, 1817 in Saint Martins, Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, and died Bef. 1892. He married MARY A. I believe this is actually John Fownes Follett and the " F " initial was incorrectly noted as appearing to be a " T ". The apparent mother Mary A. Follett was born About 1820 in England. The son Bradbury was born About 1843 in Texas. The other three children were born in Louisiana: John H (about 1848), Edith (about 1852), Grace (about 1857). The 1880 U.S. Census taken at Algiers, 15th Ward, New Orleans, La. notes that John F. Follett was a Shipwright born in New Brunswick and that he was married at that time. Notes for MARY A. FOLLETT: I do not know Mary A. Follett's maiden name at the present time. Children of JOHN FOLLETT and MARY FOLLETT are: 3.
