to begin their careers find excellent postdegree placement as managers or financial professionals. Those who choose to continue studying go on to master's programs in the best academic institutions in the EU. The course also gives selected students the opportunity to spend a year in the Netherlands at the University of Utrecht, ranked first in the Netherlands and among the best in Europe. Through a structured study plan and an academic program that combines the best of what the two universities have to offer, participants will acquire the fundamentals of the culture and traditions of continental Europe. Moreover, students enrolled in their third year may directly apply for the LUISS Double Degree Program at the graduate level. We here at LUISS are very proud of our undergraduate program, and especially of our undergraduate students. And, above all, we are committed to improving further on the three grounds I mentioned before: even more quality, openness, innovation in the Laurea Triennale in Economics and Business at LUISS.

Openness to joint programs with top European universities. Constant innovation in academic tracks and teaching methods. A simple formula to state, a demanding goal to achieve. The aim of this three-year bachelor degree, fully taught in English, is to train open-minded graduates who are internationally focused. The course provides solid, basic, general preparation in the most important economic fields and offers an excellent introduction to the fields of business and finance. The program also offers an introduction to the functioning and policies of the main European institutions and regulatory requirements of various markets, with special attention given to areas such as competition and antitrust law. The three areas of specialization of the Laurea Triennale in Economics and Business in the third year are Management, Economics, and Finance, and give students the option of focusing on their possible future master’s programs. The main objective is to contribute to the creation of a class of European leaders with a strong economic background and a true affinity for management and entrepreneurship. Our graduates who choose

Bachelor Degree in Economics and Business at LUISS It is not just studying completely in English that makes this degree program so stimulating: the main strength of Economics and Business is its marked international vocation, that prepares students to face academic challenges worldwide. The course of Economics and Business offered me the opportunity to experience

Gianluigi Albano

Head of Research, Consip – The National Central Purchasing Body, Italy Professor, National School of Administration My professional career has always been driven by a passion for the evolving theory and practice of competition and the quintessential role of human capital in any social activity, and so far has been split between the academic world in Brussels and London and the public sector in Rome. I have almost touched with my bare hands how the confines between public and private have become more blurred, particularly in those markets that have experienced waves of privatizations or quasi-privatizations. Thus talents for the future need to be nurtured so as to be able to move back and forth from one sector to another. Future generations for a dynamic public sector will be asked to be at ease with ambiguity and complexity in a fastchanging environment, and to adopt a systematic evidence-based and multidisciplinary approach to decision

a practical approach to university, strongly related to the labor market and to reality-based case studies, and to spend two semesters at the Utrecht School of Economics. I participated in several group projects and I have learned how fantastic it is to work in a team with people from different countries. I would definitely suggest to all interested students to choose the bachelor’s degree program in Economics and Business.

making. The inspiring logic of the Bachelor in Economics and Business at LUISS University is exactly what a modern employer - be it public or private - would require from an outstanding educational institution, namely a wide array of courses aiming at endowing students with a conceptually rich toolbox to comprehend dynamic forces in different markets and evolving regulatory frameworks at both national and supra-national level. An open-minded and scientific approach to these issues requires formal modeling of economic relationships, and testing hypotheses against data. The study of Economics and Business at LUISS therefore involves developing problemsolving skills, including mathematical and statistical abilities, and applying these skills, without losing sight of the real world. Regardless of whether you will develop a passion for any professional research activity, these will be inevitably the prerequisites for critical thinking and an ever-challenging attitude towards received ideas.

AdLab aims at putting you in contact with the employers and helping you learn about the job market from an insider’s perspective. Our partners include important companies, professional firms, government institutions and research centers. They are directly and fully involved in developing the biographies of the students, helping them develop the technical and soft skills necessary to access the job market. AdLab allows companies and professional firms to “adopt” students for eighteen months and guide them in their personal and professional development.

We want you to get acquainted with the working world while you’re still a student. Don’t wait until you graduate! To build your personal profile step-by-step, to write a great CV, to train in and learn about in your chosen field before graduation.

Project phases ➊ Meet employers during presentation sessions at LUISS. ➋ Get selected as an adopted team member. The process is similar to recruitment phases that students will face as graduates. ➌ Visit your partner's headquarters. Here you can immerge yourself in the company’s world and meet representatives from various departments and gain first-hand experience in all areas of your partner’s work. ➍ Meet with employers to get feedback on group and individual development. They will then assign a project for groups to test their knowledge and exercise teamwork and problem-solving skills. ➎ Present your project at your company's headquarters, get evaluated as a group and as individuals in order to obtain concrete material for your CV. ➏ Possibly get chosen to perform an internship for course credits.

Throughout the entire project you’ll be supported by an AdLab Tutor who will guide you during each phase of the project, from employers' presentations to the selection process and the company visits. The AdLab Tutor will be a point of reference for both students and AdLab partner companies.
