WELCOME Dear Colleagues: We are delighted to announce our second Sudden Cardiac Death Symposium to be held at Inselspital, University Hospital of Bern on October 20th 2016. Our program offers this year state of the art presentations, including clinical cases and novel advances in sudden cardiac death prevention, early detection of population at risk and progress in management strategies. Sudden cardiac death is a major public health problem worldwide and the medical profession requires regular update on this topic in order to treat opportunely and reduce the incidence of this unfortunate outcome. We have invited worldwide and national leaders and during one day this meeting will offer a very interesting and attractive update on this important topic. This symposium is directed to the medical community working in the following areas: Family Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Genetics, Sport Medicine, Cardiology and Anesthesia.
