This Luminous Fabric, based on fiber optics, emits a colored light along the full length of the fibers, producing a stunning luminous effect. Unlike other light sources like Neon, LEDs or electroluminescence, the light coming from the Luminous Fabric is subtle and mysterious, allowing to create amazing, stylish and wonderfully original fashion accessories and decoration items. Luminous panels of fiber optics fabric of custom dimensions can be used for making wall or ceiling panels, they can also be integrated into furniture, etc… Custom projects only.
F.A.Q •
All our items include an on/off switch allowing to control the lighting of the fiber optics fabric.

All our wearable items are powered by low voltage batteries (4,5V), so there is absolutely no risk of electrical shock.

The disposable batteries can be replaced by rechargeable AAA 1.2V batteries.
•
Most of our items have an autonomy of roughly 12 hours or more on fully charged batteries.
•
The fiber optics fabric does not heat up when it is lighted.
•
The light emitted by the fiber optics fabric is hardly visible in direct sunlight or broad daylight. It is best viewed in dark or shadowed areas.
•
Heterogeneity and differences in light emissions on the Fiber Optics Fabric are an intrinsic feature of the product (each product is unique).

The Fiber Optics fabric is as fast as any other synthetic fabric. However, unlike other synthetic fabrics, you should NOT FOLD THE FIBER OPTICS FABRIC perpendicularly to the optical fibers, otherwise this may permanently damage or break the optical fibers. The fiber optics fabric can be folded (with care) parallel to the optical fibers. If you don't know or are unsure about the position of the optical fibers in the fabric, then do not fold it at all.

The Fiber Optics Fabric can be gently hand washed with water up to 50°C and natural soap. The batteries must be mandatory removed prior to washing. If possible, do not immerse the battery box, even if the batteries have been removed. The Fiber Optics Fabric must not be washed in washing machine, folded (pressed) or dried.
•
NEVER IRON THE FIBER OPTICS FABRIC. In order to smooth your fiber optics clothe out, simply place it on a clothes hanger after washing out.
AC Power version:
•
For Brick & Mortar retailers, we can provide an “AC power version” (powered by a mains adapter instead of batteries) to be used for articles on show in the window (continuous power on).

The “AC power version” can be easily converted back to a standard version, by replacing the AC adapter by a LumiGram battery box
