Welcome back to Summer Day Camps 2010!

From the desk of the

Camp Director Dear Parents: Each of our camps is designed to build self-esteem while promoting self-confidence and leadership. Through the daily programming, the children are encouraged to participate in activities that will help them grow socially and physically while interacting with other children and making new friends. All of our day camps at the Midland Community Center are a lot of fun! The Midland Community Center takes pride in ensuring that all staff members meet the requirements of the State of Michigan Day Camp Licensing guidelines. The Midland Community Center also has a staff person on site at all times that is certified in First Aid and CPR. Your children are important to us and we take the most care possible to make sure that their camp experience is one that they will remember forever. Why should you choose the Midland Community Center’s Day Camps over every other camp this summer? First, we offer a wide variety of camps so that all children can choose something that they will enjoy. In addition, our full day camps offer a field trip every week that falls in line with our weekly theme. Our Full Day Campers also go swimming every day and will receive a Midland Community Center Summer Day Camp T-shirt that ties into the specific camps that they attend. This will give them a great keepsake to remind them of the wonderful time they spent at summer day camp. For your convenience, the Midland Community Center will once again offer pre-camp activities from 7 AM – 9 AM and post-camp activities from 4 PM – 6 PM. There your campers can enjoy additional time with their new friends if you need to drop them off early or pick them up late, all at no additional cost. We look forward to having your campers this summer at the Midland Community Center.
