How to REGISTER: Please use our online process for a quick and complete experience. Payment is required at the time of registration and can be done so with a credit card. Go to our website www.UPTRC.com and find Activities on the left toolbar. Go to CAMPS and you should click on the camp you are thinking about attending. On the left you will see “Please Login to Register” You will then be asked to log in. If you already have an account log in with your user name and password, if not you will need to create one. Anderson Farm Preschool Camp Ages: 3-5 years of age—Must be toilet-trained During this half day camp Preschoolers will get plenty of personal attention with our camper to counselor ratio. Little ones sample arts and crafts, sports, games, and other activities designed to introduce them to camp life. Occasionally participants will enjoy special visitors who will bring fun and excitement. CSI—Crime Scene Investigation Presented by: Computer Explorers June 20 – June 24 - Ages 6 to 8 Use Science to solve crimes. Work the field scene and the laboratory end of CSI with your senses, logic and forensics. We’ll use fingerprinting, tire tread patterns and much more! No blood, no gore...but excitement galore! Location: Recreation Center - Anderson Farm Park Date: June 20 - June 24 Time: 9:30am to 11:30am Cost: Resident - $160/NR - $190

Dek Hockey June 20 – June 24 - Ages 8 to 13 Dek Hockey is a game of fun and speed! Learn the rules of the game, practice offense and defense, and play in a tournament. A day trip is included. FAQ 

If we can’t make everyday of camp is there a discount? There will be no fee reduction or reimbursement for absences.



What about the camp staff?

All of our staff are qualified and trained. The ratio is about 10 to 1 and we have a Camp Supervisor on site at all times.



What about the safety of the campers? All campers need to be signed in and out of camp each and everyday.



Can my child call me from camp?

We do not allow campers to bring their cell phones to camp. If they need to get in touch with you they can ask the staff to call for them. If you need to get in touch please call us and we will have them call you. We recognize the fact that cell phones are expensive and we can not be responsible for lost or broken ones.



How do the campers travel?

We use school type buses to go on our field trips. We travel every Wednesday for our four week camp and we do a lot of half day trips. The bus company is fully insured.



What is your Refund Policy?

Program Cancellation and Refund Policy: Upper Providence Township reserves the right to cancel any program, trip or activity due to insufficient registration, inclement weather or any reasonable cause; in this case a full refund will be issued. No refunds will be issued for camp cancellations unless requests are made in writing prior to 14 days of the start of a program. All refunds are subject to a 15% processing fee. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellation of bus trips, or cancellations made after the start of a program. There is a $25.00 fee for all returned checks.

***Friday Lunch Option for Camp Anderson Farm Park and Camp Black Rock We are offering a Friday lunch of pizza and drink on every other Friday and on the opposite Friday, Chick fil a option. Each participant will have this option instead of packing a lunch for the day. Pizza Lunch consists of Pizza, Drink, and chips or fruit. The Chick fil A consists of Chicken sandwich or 8 piece Chicken nuggets with a Drink and chips or fruit. (Please be aware that Chick-fil-A cooks in peanut oil). Cost for all four weeks is $28.00 Or when you get to camp you can buy just for a week for the cost of $7.00.

Presented by: Impact Sports Ages: 3-5 Squiggles/6-12 All Stars A week long soccer program that provides an opportunity for young athletes to be involved in an exciting and active soccer program! They will learn the key technical skills including – passing, shooting, dribbling & defending whilst being provided with the opportunity to perform the skills in fun small sided games. Players will learn new tactical concepts and take part in the Impact World Cup tournament. All participants will receive an Impact T-shirt and certificate of participation. Be sure to return the waiver form before camp. Campers are not permitted to remain at camp without a signed waiver on file. Presented by: Valley Forge Dance School June 27- July 1 —Ages 7 to 14 Expect to be singing, dancing, acting, and performing its most popular songs, in this Classic French Fairy Tale. Campers must wear: flat shoes or thick socks, (NO bulky sneakers and NO flip flops); loose tops with shorts/ capri pants, is the required attire. We will supply all costumes for our Friday outdoor stage show at 3 pm, when the audience brings their own chairs or picnic blankets. Eureka! The Young Inventors Camp

Presented by: Mad Science June 27– July 1 - Ages 6 to 12 This is a camp designed by you—the Inventor. Each day you’ll be given a series of challenges which must be overcome using basic materials, simple machines, tips from world famous inventors, and the most important thing of all-your imagination! With a little bit of ingenuity you’ll construct catapults and forts, fabricate a winning Egg Drop design, and assemble a working light saber to take home. Invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration, but this camp is 100% fun! Location: Anderson Farm Park Date: June 27 - July 1 Time: 9:30am to 12:30pm Cost: Resident - $160/NR - $180

Total Sports Camp Presented by: Impact Sports This week long camp takes on a variety of sports including basketball, soccer, tag, rugby, cricket, field hockey and IS Olympics. LUNCH HOPPER OPTION #### The Lunch Hopper program enables you to participate in our halfday specialty camps and still receive full-day care. How does it work? You would sign up for two half-day specialty camps that are on the same dates, as long as your camper meets the age requirement for both camps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We ensure your child gets from camp to camp, so there is nothing for you to worry about. Your camper will enjoy their morning camp, and have lunch inside the Recreation Center. After lunch they will clean up and move on to their next exciting camp.

Adventure Camp June 27 - July 1 - Ages 8 to 11 This camp is packed with fun and adventure, featuring a different field trip each day. Tentative trips include Philadelphia Zoo, No. 9 Mine and Museum, Dorney Park, Lincoln Financial Tour/ Dave and Busters and the Turkey Hill Experience. **New this year is the Before or After-Camp Care This is only available for the Anderson Farm Camp. We will be offering one hour before and one hour after the Anderson Farm Camp. For a cost of $25.00 per week for each one hour care. In the morning you will drop off at the Recreation Center and in the afternoon pick up at the Recreation Center. You will need to sign your child in and out each day. We will be sure that they get to camp.

Volleyball Skills Camp –3 day camp

July 13 - July 15 - Ages 8 to 17 years All Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced players who would like to improve their skills and abilities are invited to participate. Each camper will receive instruction in the latest techniques for setting, passing, serving, spiking, blocking, resistance training, and defense. Basic team concepts of offense and defense will also be covered. Wear appropriate clothing and non-marking sole athletic shoes. Bring a water bottle and knee pads, if you wear them. Nature Explorers Camp - 4 Day Camp Presented by: GeoVentures July 5 - July 8 - Ages 6 to 9 It’s a jungle out there and Nature Explorers are heading out on an adventure to explore the outdoors and the thrilling plants and animals that dwell there. Armed with your binoculars and magnifying glasses, campers will work to answer some of the world’s biggest (and smallest) questions. Campers will learn what to do when encountering wild animals, identify prints and tracks, go on exploratory hikes and a nature scavenger hunt, and investigate how animals camouflage themselves plus much more. Are you ready to go on an outdoor Adventure? Each day will include hands-on activities, discussion and a team activity. Bring a water bottle and healthy snack; wear comfortable shoes and dress for activity and the weather. Presented by: GeoVentures July 5—July 8 - Ages 8 to 12 The Force is strong within you, but more training you require before a true Padawan you can become. Campers learn the way of the Jedi through games and team challenges. Discover the secrets of far away galaxies: how to navigate the wilds of Naboo; how to detect and elude galactic forces; and make and properly handle your own lightsaber. Join us - the Rebel Alliance needs you! Each day will include hands-on activities, discussion and a team activity. Mad Machines & Rockin’ Rockets!

Presented by: Mad Science August 15-August 19 - Ages 6 to 12 Join us for a fun-filled week of science experiments and cool projects. Topics include Mad Machines, Earth’s Amazing Wonders, Rocketry & Flight, and much more. Children will have loads of fun learning about simple machines and creating their own mini-sonic race car. They will also get a chance to investigate the basics of geology and the wonders of nature with Earthquakes—Volcanoes and more. All students will witness a thrilling outdoor Rocket Launch. Let’s Do Robotics ####

Presented by: Computer Explorers August 8 – August 12 - Ages 6 to 8 The children will build Robots and use software designed for children to teach their Robots to respond to their instructions. The children will use sensors and motors that allow them to program their Robots for motion, sound, etc. Will the alligator snap its mouth shut? Their duck quack and move? Presented by: GeoVentures July 11 - 15 – Ages 9-14 Geo-what?! Geocaching is a worldwide treasure hunt that utilizes a handheld GPS unit, a good set of eyes and a bit of hiking around. It’s a real-life adventure game where puzzles and challenges await you at each turn of the trail. Experienced staff will guide you as you learn how to use a GPS for geocaching, explore the outdoors as you search for hidden containers and design your own geocaching course. Zombie Survival Camp ####

Presented by: GeoVentures July 11 - 15 – Ages 9-14 Are you prepared for the zombie invasion? Become a member of the Zombie Outbreak Response Agency. As a ZORA agent you will learn proper protocol for building zombie-proof shelters, locating supply caches using GPS, signaling skills to communicate with other agents, tracking the zombie’s movements and camouflaging to hide among the zombie legions. Join the resistance for this post-apocalyptic camp. Each day will include hands-on activities, discussion and a team activity.
