Dada Mkutano – Encontro de Irmãs – Served as the Development and Event Coordinator. Dada Mkutano is a bimonthly informal meeting organized by Black women focused on wellness and dialogue around concerns that affect us in particular ways. The idea was to construct a secure environment where Black women from different backgrounds could talk about their issues without feel silenced. During the meetings, that had a picnic format, I acted as a moderator helping to facilitate discussions and trying to create a friendly environment to the participants. Public Service Positions
