Given a situation, context, or problem, students will determine, identify, and use appropriate quantities for representing the situation. MCC912.N.Q.3 Choose a level of accuracy appropriate to limitations on measurement when reporting quantities.

Essential Question:

Students will know how to convert units in contextual and data driven situations.

Learning Goal:

Activating Strategy: Lesson Opener: (5 min.) Warm-up (10 min)

Students will be given a read, write, and solve problem for class kickoff on OLC and complete it in meta mojo. Students will complete socrative over rewriting algebraic expressions. (formative)

Review: (10 min)

Teacher will review both warm-up and kickoff. Students will also deconstruct NQ3 in metamoji and place it in their bookcreator. Teaching Strategies: Procedures/Technology/Performan ce Tasks: (30 minutes work time)

Teacher will will introduce conserving fuel pdf on OLC using a Keynote and review standards. Students will complete conserving fuel task with a partner.

Students will then think pair share with other groups. keynote (20 min)

Teacher will will set up groups by using the socrative taken throughout the week for the stations study guide review. Students will complete every station and create their own video over the stations using whatever app they please. Students will watch solutions video youtube from olc.

Students will then take Unit 1 assessment. When they finish he assessment they will take the pre-test for Unit 2 if have not already done so on Tuesday.

After they take the test they will complete test corrections over what they miss and why they missed it.
