CONTROL PANEL Allen-Bradley CompactLogix PLC - Fully automated electronic system based on an Allen Bradley PLC. The PLC consists of a CompactLogix central processing unit, which incorporates analog and digital modules. • The rack-mounted design makes expansion easy to implement, and depending on the requirements, additional I/O modules can be added. • The operator interface is an Allen Bradley Panel View touch screen, which communicates to the PLC. • Control functions such as viewing parameters and alarms, accessing PID control loops, entering control set points, entering start-up configuration parameters as well as configuring analogue input span settings are accessible from the PanelView. The screens display the value of all process variables. • If the communication link from the PanelView to the PLC were lost the compressors would still function normally, however the operator interface would be lost. The compressor would still operate safely and could be monitored with the local LCD pressure and temperature indicators. • Controller is suitable for mounting in a Class I, Division II, Group D electrical area and is designed for a 24 VDC power supply.
