Research interests • Numerical approximation of partial differential equations with finite elements, finite volume and spectral methods. • Numerical methods for fluid problems with particular emphasis on the modelling of free-surface, moving domains, fluid-structure interaction and turbulent and transitional flows. • Analysis and development of level set methods with finite elements. • Large scale simulations for industrial applications in different domains (naval hydrodynamics, swimming, shaking bioreactors, heat ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)).
