Career objective Henrique has highly invested in his formation towards the development of competences in the Energy field, especially in the building sector, coupling Academia with Industry in his experience. He hopes to develop added-value solutions that can foster energy efficiency with deep research that can be market valuable. He is currently a PhD candidate at the MIT Portugal Program & at the KIC InnoEnergy PhD Program, coordinator and program manager in research projects, and he is also a founding partner of a startup in the Energy Sector – Watt-IS.

MEMBERSHIP Founding Member of the MIT Portugal Energy Club, where he has collaborated in the organization of the following events: Energy Discussions, Seminars, Workshops (at IST and other Schools) and Energy Night (held Ciência Viva Pavilion, June 2012). Namely, he is the coordinator of the event Seminar Series, in which has been organizing periodic energy-related seminars.
