Start to be familiar with basic file structure (drives > folders > files) Open files Save files with a name and place Navigate between two programs or windows Identify the basic components of a printer--ink, toner, paper, paper tray Use print preview to see how a file will print Choose correct printer to print color or black and white

Identify left and right hand Use both hands on the keyboard Gain familiarity with the placement of the keys on the keyboard Identify the relationship between pressing keys on the keyboard and seeing letters on the screen Identify and key the letters of the alphabet Identify and key numbers on the keyboard Develop the skill of keying letters to form words Use the Shift key to make capital letters Identify and key symbols with and without the Shift key Practice using technology for real-world application Practice using capital letters

IV. Unit: Beginning Graphics A.
