Background     •  Study  included  in  Metro  COG’s  Unified  Planning  Work   Program  in  2006  at  the  request  of  the  Minnesota   Department  of  Transporta2on  (Mn/DOT)  and  North   Dakota  Department  of  Transporta2on  (NDDOT);   •  Intent  of  the  Study  evolved  greatly,  changing  from   “bypass/perimeter  system”  study    to  a  “system   opera2ons/management”  study;   •  Project  Kicked  off  in  December  of  2007  and  was   completed  in  January  of  2011;  completed  in  two  dis2nct   phases   •  Total  Cost:  $185,000  (not  including  MPO  internal  labor)
