Cremona, why not? Cremona and its surroundings are the ideal destination for those who want to experience tourism in a slow and sustainable manner, in search of authentic flavours and traditions that are still alive today. Ours is a city rich in history and culture that reveals itself to lovers of music and art; the countryside draws inspiration from nature and the local culinary traditions produce foods that are simply mouth-watering. Cremona is waiting for you, taste it! Worldwide Cremona means violins. Two major milestones has been recently achieved: the inclusion of luthery tradition in the UNESCO World Heritage and the inauguration of the Museum of the Violin, which houses Stradivari's precious instruments. In Cremona music take a new dimension, it becomes culture of doing. We lead the curious tourist in the workshop of a violin maker where he can touch the wood that will become an instrument played in the most important theaters of the world, feel the smell of paints and enamels, and the noise of tools. Furthermore, only in Cremona you can be king for a day by climbing the 502 steps to the top of the Torrazzo, the bell tower 112 meters high, landmark of the city, and letting your eyes wander. The effort is rewarded soon: the town is at your feet, and it seem to be able to hug the horizon. Unusual transports offer the chance to taste with the correct slowness of the beauty of the area. Rediscover authentic countryside by cycling along the banks, between rows of poplars and typical farmhouses, or sailing on a boat the loops of the rivers Po and Adda, savoring gradually unspoiled landscapes. Ans, at the end of all this, find out good food and culinary traditions that are handed down from generation to generation. Grana Padano cheese, salami, marubini with three broths, mustard, nougat: dirty your hands with our skilled artisans, learn the recipes of unknown delicacies and then lick your fingers.

You will not regret. 1
