Reducing waste water phosphorus levels Ferric Chloride Case: North Las Vegas Water Reclamation Facility 1.
Phosphorus organisms were found to increase when temperatures reached 28°C.

Ferric Chloride was introduced to remove phosphorus compounds by adding 750–1,500 l/day from March to October.

Discharge levels of phosphorus were reduced to 20–25% below the mandated limit. Improve water quality.
