National and International Educational Projects

BIBB - Project Model Q3 Working for, and with, companies to promote personnel training,we developed a pilot quality model to address the needs of industrial manufacturers. Embedded solutions for practical online instruments and materials can be found at: www.qhoch3.net.

Leonardo-Projects Since 2007, Polish vocational students have been annually attending a four-week internship at our training centre Zwickau. The program includes topics such as CNC, pneumatics, electrical and welding techniques. In addition to improving their skill set, they are introduced to German industrial business practices and working conditions, enjoy some of our many cultural sites, and have a chance to improve their German language skills.

Grundtvig Lit-Tech The primary focus of the project is to exchange experiences in the field of literacy and basic adult education training programs by organisations located in the UK, Portugal and Slovenia. These reciprocal exchanges are designed to introduce proven teaching and learning techniques to promote literacy and hands-on communication technologies (ICT). The outcomes are evaluated and the findings documented for future reference.

Qualification of Foreign Vocational Teachers / Trainers Since 2011, foreign vocational teachers from abroad (i.e., China) have attended educational workshops and laboratories in AZZ modules.Topics included were mechatronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, CNC turning and CNC milling. Methodological and didactic themes are specifically directed at skilled workers wishing to take the Chamber of Commerce examinations.
