The Eskan Company is wholly owned at 100% by the Cree Nation of Mistissini. ◦ The Eskan Company, in turn, owns at 100% interest in the Makaahiikan Construction Inc., the Eenatuk Forestry Corporation, and the Mistissini Ataawaaukamikw Inc.

The Eskan Company and its subsidiaries collaborate in many fields through the maximization of the Mistissini local entrepreneurship: ◦ Presenting Mistissini entrepreneurs and making returns to the Community: ◦ Buying local priority: purchasing of fuel, renting machinery & equipment, communications etc. ◦ Social Responsibility: local sponsorships and donations to community events
