Introduction About Us Asset Training Australia is a privately owned Registered Training Organisation based in Brisbane, Queensland delivering nationally recognised training throughout Australia. Our team comprises professional operators, administrators and trainers with extensive experience and skill. We design and deliver our courses based on industry best practice and continually improve our resources through regular research and industry consultation. We have formed relationships with hundreds of employers, employment service providers and other organisations to ensure that our students not only receive the most relevant and up-todate information available they also have the greatest opportunity for employment after completing the course.

History Asset Training Australia was formed in January 2006 in partnership with another Registered Training Organisation (Corporate Security Training) to deliver security, first aid, traffic control and firearms training. Our office was established on the Gold Coast with training being delivered locally as well as servicing regional areas such as the Sunshine Coast, Fraser Coast and Toowoomba. In 2008, Asset Training Australia parted amicably with its partner organisation with a vision of broadening the range of courses and expanding into new territories. In September 2008, Asset Training Australia completed the initial registration process and became an RTO in its own right. In that same year, we established a new head office on Brisbane’s northside (North Lakes) which became the company’s head office. Since 2009, the company has continued to expand rapidly both geographically through our network of franchises / training partners and through an increase in our scope of registration. During this time, Asset Training Australia was also awarded Pre-Qualified Supplier status for the Queensland Government and secured funding contracts including the Productivity Places Program, Certificate 3 Guarantee, User Choice and the Higher Level Skills program. - Page 5 -

Market Asset Training Australia’s scope of registration has been developed to ensure that our services will not only meet the needs of a broad market but also meet the diverse needs of most organisations. We have developed a wide range of courses to address core business skills such as Leadership and Management, Human Resources, Project Management, Marketing, Work Health and Safety, Business Administration and Customer Engagement. Each of these core business functions also has a variety of courses to suit different levels or roles within an organisation from new workers to team leaders, mid-high level managers and executives ensuring a complete business training solution. In addition to this, Asset Training Australia has courses which focus on technical skills for specific industries or target markets such as Security and Investigations, Traffic Management, Outdoor Recreation, Firearms Safety and Small Business Management. As leaders in the field of education and training, we also have a variety of Education and Training courses available to promote innovation and excellence within our own industry. Having such a diverse scope of services at our disposal provides endless opportunities for recurring services to our existing markets and expanding into new markets. This includes opportunities for individuals, organisations and Government.

Why Asset? Since our business began trading, one of the most common questions has been around our name – Why Asset? What does “Asset” Training Australia mean? Our philosophy which any successful business owner or leader would agree with, is that the greatest asset of any business is its people. Similarly, an individual’s greatest asset is their knowledge and skills. The fundamental purpose of business is to grow its assets in order to make a profit yet many businesses fail because the people that work in the business lack the necessary knowledge and skills to keep the business ahead in such a competitive market. By investing in its people, those people will provide better productivity, sustainability and growth for the business. To the individual, this investment reinforces their loyalty to the business and creates opportunities for their personal development and career progression. Asset Training Australia can offer strategies for both organisations and individuals across multiple sectors to enhance their capabilities, reduce inefficiencies and promote an innovative culture that will result in a successful outcome for all parties.

Our Network Franchises Asset Training Australia has developed a franchising system in order to extend the accessibility of our services to a broader market. Our current Franchises include Brisbane City, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Townsville. Discussions are currently underway for new Franchises to be established in South Brisbane, Toowoomba and Rockhampton during the first half of 2016. Further expansion of our Franchise network is expected to continue. These Franchises replicate the quality of service offered through our North Lakes head office and offer the additional benefits of local knowledge. Our National Franchise and Training Partner Manager ensures that quality and consistency of services and resources are maintained throughout the entire network. The working relationship that we have established with our franchisees has been one of the key factors in ensuring that this strategy is successful. Our franchisees work closely with head office and each other to meet our clients’ needs and contribute towards our innovation and continuous improvement goals. This has been particularly beneficial in delivering training to large corporations with diverse requirements and staff in multiple locations.

As with our Franchises, our Training Partners form an integral part of our organisation. Not only do they extend our reach by delivering our courses but they also contribute to our ongoing development by providing a broad range of industry expertise that is used to design and continually improve our courses. Our Services

Work Preparation Approx. 1/3 of Asset Training Australia’s clients are job seekers, many of whom are new entrants to the workforce. In addition to providing accredited training that leads to employment, we can provide support services such as licence application preparation and submission, guidance on searching for suitable jobs, resume writing, interview preparation skills and career planning.

Career Planning Having a career progression plan is one of the most beneficial ways for individuals to secure their career goals. It allows the individual to budget for and schedule their future training requirements at times that coincide with phases of their employment that will gain the best outcome while reducing burden on the work/study/life balance. In the case of organisations, effective career planning and succession planning for staff means better quality staff and less downtime due to staff attrition.

Training Needs Analysis Our team can conduct a training needs analysis and provide professional advice regarding the training needs for an individual, a role, a team or an organisation. The training needs analysis is the most effective method for identifying existing skills, required skills, skill gaps and formulating an effective training plan to address the skills gaps.

Training Design and Development Asset Training Australia has designed and developed over 50 nationally recognised qualifications and dozens of non-accredited courses. Our team can design and/or develop training and assessment resources for courses to be delivered face-to-face, online, through recognition of prior learning or a combination of these.
