Dietary Approaches To Stop Hypertension (DASH) High Touch y EMC’s first targeted health management program y DASH is a partnership program between EMC and the Boston University School of Medicine, which helps individuals with hypertension by giving them access to a nutrition program aimed at lowering blood pressure y Recommended by the American Heart Association and part of the government’s dietary guidelines, DASH at EMC has had extremely positive results: 9 Drop in blood pressure (systolic/diastolic) – At 12 months: 5.9/2.4 – At 24 months: 7.7/1.7
