How do we do it? The AbaOnline computing and software requirements are very basic and affordable. Your computer setup requirements This is minimal – there are no expensive or complicated requirements: Ÿ Any normal PC or Laptop system running Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 7. Disk space requirements range from a mere 5 megabytes to a maximum of 15 megabytes. You can even have multiple operators or departments accessing the AbaTrans Online system at the same time via your existing office network. Ÿ A printer for invoices, statements, reports e.g. a Laser (recommended for costeffectiveness) or Inkjet Printer. Ÿ A reliable ADSL Internet connection or a 3G connection or a Wireless connection (Recommended 384K or better speed).

Your AbaTrans Online Software This is how it’s done: Ÿ You provide us with some very basic information about your Internet connection so that we can ensure that each of your systems can communicate with the AbaTrans Online Application. We set up unique security access codes and passwords for your use. Ÿ You provide us with your company logo and other company details that you want to appear on all your “public” documents such as invoices, statements, etc. We incorporate these into the Application software for you. AbaCash - Petty Cash Control Module AbaCash is an add-on Module and is used for keeping track of Drivers' petty cash payments, toll fees, etc. Can be integrated into AbaLoad, AbaWarehouse or AbaFleet Applications.

How do you incorporate AbaOnline data into your Accounting Package? Most of our clients have purchased accounting software packages such as AccPac, Pastel, Sage or TurboCash. There is no need to duplicate transactions into an accounting package. It is a simple matter of printing whatever monthly report from the AbaTrans Application e.g. Sales, purchases, etc. and then capturing the totals as journal entries into whatever accounting package you use. We do have a Creditors Module (AbaCreditors) which can be integrated with a number of our AbaOnline Applications as well. Ask us for more details.

AbaFuel - Fuel Usage Management This is an add-on module which is used to control all fuel bought, used or sold (includes multiple depots). Essential for monitoring your vehicle fuel and producing Consumption Analysis reports per vehicle. Can be integrated into AbaLoad and AbaWarehouse Applications.

Not included in the Licence Ÿ Support and maintenance is limited to the AbaOnline Application that you use only. It does not include any software, support or assistance for any other third-party applications or connectivity software and hardware, e.g. solving problems with your Windows operating software, internet connection, printing problems or help with a spreadsheet.

How does our AbaOnline Right of Use Licence work? Once you have chosen the AbaOnline Application that best suits your needs, you must complete a Right of Use Licence with us. This right of use of the software does not constitute a purchase of the software program or product, only the end-user use and operation of the software.

Ÿ Assistance on site at your premises can be arranged, e.g. in the case where remote support cannot solve the problem (highly unlikely). On site support will be charged on a time, materials and travel expenses basis and is not included in the licence.

The Licence(s) are for a minimum period of one year and fees are billable in advance on a monthly basis.

Ÿ If you want to purchase the AbaOnline Application for use in more than one branch of your company, and this necessitates that public documents, etc. be unique to that branch, e.g. addresses, etc., then you will have to purchase a separate AbaOnline Application Licence.

Ÿ Maintenance of Database(s) and database administration for the corrections of user errors or other faulty data situations.

Here’s how to save money on your AbaTrans Online Licence fees Our very best clients have come to us by word-of-mouth and we pride ourselves in maintaining a very long and mutually beneficial relationship with them. Once you are a happy user of our AbaTrans Online application(s), recommend us to other transporters. For every new client that you send us and who signs up for one year, we will deduct 10% off of your monthly licence fees – each and every month for one year.
