Easier to handle quality machined, kiln dried C16 graded construction timber which produces a neater faster finish Because it’s smooth and we’ve eased the edges this timber is easier to work with. Its been machined so all its dimensions are regular and true, making for a quicker better fit. The finished job looks neater and you can paint, stain or preserve it easier too.

easi-edge™ is available in green and brown high pressure preservative finish. For timber framing and roof trusses we now offer a low pressure preservative treated alternative. easi-edge™ is available in standard sections and lengths, please refer to the specification page for a full list of available dimensions.

Quality kiln dried CLS timber graded to C16 and machined to uniform dimensions to allow faster and easier construction Studwork gets done quicker, easier and more cost effectively with easi-stud™. We’ve eased its edges and given it a smooth finish to make it easier to work with. All its dimensions are regular and accurate for tighter, stronger construction. Paint, varnish and stains apply easier to easi-stud™ and the finished job should always look tidier. High pressure preservative treatment is standard although low pressure treatment is available on request and is subject to availability.

Pressure treated quality timber decking that looks good for longer Long lasting, good looking decking gets laid easier with easi-deck™. The deck boards are machined to a grooved grip profile from quality Whitewood. It’s pressure treated with Tanalith® E to cope with the climate for years to come. There’s a choice of green or brown high pressure treatment finishes and a good range of balustrading to finish the job off.

Versatile, quality treated timber sleepers for the landscape gardening trade easi-sleeper™ is a range of sleepers that have endless garden or leisure applications. From boundaries, edgings and planters to distinctive raised beds and borders, decks, terraces and walkways. Kiln Dried Heat Treatment Heat treated in our kilns for at least thirty minutes at a minimum temperature of 56ºC easi-pallet™ meets the pallet industry’s International Standard ISPM No. 15.

Packing Grade HT 56/30 As a by-product of our kilning and grading processes, we produce a ‘packing grade’ product which meets the HT 56/30 standard.

Purlins Purlins are the horizontal structural members used in roof construction, they support the loads from the roof deck or sheathing and are supported by the principal rafters and/or the building walls. The use of purlins, as opposed to closely spaced rafters, is common in pre-engineered metal building systems, some timber frame constructions and in agricultural buildings.

Formwork/Shuttering Sections These sections are used in the fabrication of either temporary or permanent moulds into which concrete or similar materials are poured. They form the frame which holds the shuttering plywood.

Treatment We have invested in state of the art treatment facilities in our sawmills using both high and low pressure treatment. We treat timber products such as construction timbers, fencing and decking to enhance durability and lifespan. When exposed to certain conditions, in particular when the moisture content is allowed to rise above 24%, timber is susceptible to attack from fungi and insects. The service life of properly treated timber is 5 to 10 times longer than untreated wood. There are two types of treatment that easi™ use: - High Pressure Treatment suitable for external and internal applications and available in both green and brown colours. - Low Pressure Treatment suitable for internal applications and available in a golden yellow colour.
