Adult Education Prepares for the Fall 2014 Season! In the new efforts of evangelization by Pope Francis, all Catholic Church parishioners are being encouraged to bring the JOY OF THE GOSPEL into a world in need. We tend to forget that when we get busy or get surprised by an unexpected worry or crisis. We might forget that God is with us through all the suffering and joys of our lives. In the fall, we will once again offer many opportunities for you to grow in your faith and your relationship with God. Here’s a sneak preview of what we will be offering. We hope you will find something that speaks to you!

Remember to sign up for our parish program—the Elijah

Cup. Praying for vocations is a responsibility and privilege of the laity. We always need more families, couples, and individuals to pray for vocations. For more information, please contact Ed Schafer at (770)427-2928 or [email protected]. The Bennett Family and Jim and Nancy Young will take the cup home this week. The Fadus Family and the Waller Family will take the cup home next week.

A new Parenting series to be offered on Sunday mornings beginning in September.  The Gospel of Luke offered on Wednesday evenings.  A series on Contemplative Prayer.  Another GREAT Date Night for married couples scheduled for August.  Lunch and Learn will return with a monthly lunch and spiritual topic beginning in September.  The Catholic Book Club resumes on September 8 with A Good Hard Look by Ann Napolitano.  Small Church Communities will also be back with several new scripture studies, including one on Mary  Also coming in January, we will be presenting a new retreat called Life in the Spirit Seminar, a terrific next step for folks who have made a Christ Renew His Parish weekend.
