INTERGENERATIONAL DAY CANADA—INAUGURAL EVENTS IN TORONTO—JUNE 1, 2014 Strengthening cross-generational community relationships was the focus for the inaugural “Intergenerational Day Canada” events in Toronto, with sharing of stories from the past and present, developing new friendships and collectively creating dreams for the future. Our community partners and youth volunteers from Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute and Riverdale Collegiate Institute Intergenerational Clubs supported the Toronto special events.
