Marketing/Communication Director Job Description General Description The Marketing/ Communication Director will play the lead role in creative marketing and communications at Westerville Christian Church, including building strategies and plans, implementing projects and managing the WCC brand, thus supporting the vision, mission and core values. This position reports to the Executive Minister. Full-Time.

Essential Job Functions 1. Oversee all graphic m aterials in all areas of ministry. a. Maintain graphic language and brand standards in all areas. Establish and maintain a consistent church image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events. b. Collaborate with ministry leaders to partner in vision and production. c. Conceptual design and preparation of presentation materials. d. Design development and preparation of presentation materials including inspirational imagery, rough sketching, scale elevations, and 3d renderings as needed. e. Management of assigned projects including milestone & planning deadlines. f.

Communication with fabricators, printers, developers, etc.

g. Communication with ministry leaders in project development, status and completion. 2. Oversee com m unication, formal, social media, communication schedule and relevance. a. Develop and maintain marketing and communication priority process. (What gets communicated when, and how.) b. Communicate priorities with appropriate people while maintaining team. 3. Oversee development and production of prom otional and collateral m aterials. a. Written/Print. b. Digital. c. Major event graphic and live presentation, i.e. worship video presentation graphics and sermon support. 4. Provide worship support to the Lead Minister and Worship Minister. 5. Provide creative support (videos, photography, etc.)

6. Attend and participate in all appropriate staff and team m eetings. 7. M anage budget – marketing and communication.

5. Qualifications Four-year degree in a design discipline including Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Industrial Design, or Marketing & Media. Demonstrated client project experience and robust portfolio of representative work. Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Microsoft Office. Preferred: Video and Web Production. ProPresenter. Experience in Church Marketing and Communications a plus!
