Our Services Initial Site Visit Site visits are undertaken without cost or obligation. This enables our designers and engineers to assess the planned project and provide insight into how we would work with you. At this stage we would need to establish the functions that would be required of the space that is available, the catering concept for the establishment and the number of covers to be served.

Computer Aided Design CAD drawings will be produced to meet the brief as agreed at the site visit and this will be submitted to you with a cost proposal. The specification will include all required equipment such as storage, shelving, refrigeration and cold rooms, food preparation and cooking, serving areas, waste disposal, dishwashing and ventilation. All utilities and service schedules will be incorporated into the plan at this stage. Stainless steel wall cladding is available and fitted to order. Additional bespoke stainless steel surfaces such as cupboards, worktops, heated gantries and passes can be incorporated into the design and fabricated to complete a stylish and practical working environment. Appliances will be recommended from the many established brands that we have available to us and to suit the budget for the project.

Case Studies The Holy Trinity Centre Meole Brace, Shrewsbury

Trinity Church Meole Brace Shrewsbury were having a new community events building with kitchen attached to the main church, designed and built by specialist architects & builders.

Minsterley School is one of the many school kitchens since 1995 we have designed and installed for local authorities. Some have been in the smaller infants & Primary schools where on site meals are cooked with fresh & local produce in spaces where before they were only serving .

The kitchen was to be a more domestic style, rather than opened shelved catering kitchens but had to handle the day to day rigors of a commercial kitchen. We therefore designed stainless steel base cupboards with sliding and hinged doors & drawers, wall cupboards and a unit designed for people with disabilities as well as inset hand wash basin with a cupboard under. The units were suited together to look like a fitted kitchen, in addition there was a fully functional extraction system, electric range & hot-cupboard, commercial refrigeration, commercial dishwasher and auto fill water boiler. The kitchen passed all environmental health standards and was aesthetically pleasing to the eye to go with a wonderfully designed building.

Minsterley School

Our designs for small units incorporate preparation, cooking ,wash up, storage & refrigeration areas to ensure the standard of food required can be cooked and prepared on site. The larger schools such as Minsterley often needed a total re-fit which included strip out and disposal, re-designing and raising cad drawings as well as directing electricians plumbers etc of our requirements and carrying out full installation. We have full membership of Construction Line, Chas and ECA which covers the requirements for Local authority works. Other examples: Sundorne Infants, Llanfyllin High School, Bishops Castle College, Whixall Infants, Buntingsdale Infants, Morda Primary, Coalbrookdale School, Hope Infants School, Grove School, Bishops Castle Primary School and Ifton Heath School.

The Fox & Hounds, Shawbury The Fox & Hounds for some time had been closed until the new proprietors gave it a major re-fit, turning this once run down establishment into a fantastic country gastro pub oozing rustic charm with traditional décor & open fires. Eric Neville’s were called in at an early stage to design a kitchen which could service 180+ diners. Given the space with which to create the kitchen the first thing we needed to look at was planning the layout and the discussions with the proprietors, chef and staff who had to use the kitchen on a daily basis was going to be the key. After agreeing the layout the quality of equipment that was needed was considered it had to be reliable, powerful and responsive as time was going to be at a premium at peak periods. Extraction and air flow issues were also a major consideration as were the:1) Wash Up areas designed to be run by the minimum amount of staff yet keep a swift turnover of clean dishes ready for service 2) A cold room for easy access to chilled food was incorporated as the restaurant prides itself on fresh produce. The kitchen was designed always with the customers ideas in mind and how they wanted it to work and their wishes were always at the forefront in our planning. The Smoke & Pickle Company, Shrewsbury This new start food manufacturing business on the enterprise park needed equipment to build up the various divisions of their business as part of a 3 year plan. Designs were drawn up for the whole of the period with separate plans for the start up and the initial equipment supplied and installed for their needs. As with all new businesses, cash outlay on equipment was quite substantial so to preserve their working capital the proprietors, after consultation with their accountant, took on a Lease Plan which not only spread the cost over the 3 year period but left more of their working capital to go towards quality marketing of their products. After the initial 3 months of manufacturing they were on stage 2 of the plan and because the design had already been done it was simply a case of supplying and installing the equipment.
