this is us We are two professionally educated designers with a combined almost 20 years experience between us. We also like to have a lot of fun; life is too short. Trista heads all of our graphic design projects - branding, logos, stationery, etc. She has her graphic design degree from Red River College and her passion for design lies in thinking outside of the box to create original, creative solutions. She thinks design can be both fun and friendly, while still maintaining professionalism and polish; that’s the balance she is constantly working towards. In addition to spending hours in front of the screen working on branding projects, she loves to paint (which she utilizes in many of our jobs), fashion and spending time with her family - her husband, Kai, her 2 sons, Tate and Brooks, and their pets.

Carrie is our mastermind web designer and developer. Carrie received a college degree at Herzing College, for Web and Print Production. Carrie has taken additional online courses to further develop her web development skills as well as earning certifications for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). She is always eager to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and loves passing that knowledge onto her clients. When she’s not coding sites she’s working on DIY projects around the house, fashion, fostering dogs for rescue, and spending time with her family - her husband, Brendin, dogs Bowser and Dolly, and her adorable nieces, Abby & Scarlett.

LOGO DESIGN
Consultation & Research [ 1 hr] Working together with you, we will discuss your style and vision for the brand. We will put together an inspiration board with looks, colours, fonts, etc. to be approved prior to beginning the project. Logo Proofs & Variations* [9 hrs] After our initial consult, we will provide between 4-6 distinctly unique logo marks. Upon viewing these samples you will provide the appropriate direction in regards to which best fits your vision of your brand. Branding Elements, Styling and Packaging [2 hrs] Once your logo design is finalized, we will build a final branding board to incorporate all of the elements of your new brand. This includes variations of the logo, colours, fonts, textures, patterns, graphical elements, etc. FINAL DELIVERABLES: You will receive your logo in all popular file formats. Your final files will include your logo & all secondary / sub mark logo files and watermarks, color palette and guide {includes CMYK, RGB and Pantone color suggestions), font recommendations, and at least one coordinating pattern or texture. *please note, this includes 2 rounds of updates and alternations. Additional rounds of update will be subject to a design fee of $70/hr

Built on the popular and user friendly WordPress Content Management System, your website is constructed completely custom for your business. We professionally design and develop your own theme to seamlessly match your new or existing brand. All websites are responsive - meaning they are built for mobile devices. • Easy navigation, management; as simple for you to update as a word document • Initial design mock-up of homepage, one interior page and your blog page layout for approval by you, the client. Two rounds of revisions are included in package price. Please note that any additional revisions will be billed at our hourly rate of $70/hr. • Price includes design & build of homepage & 6 interior pages (includes blog page with 3 blog posts) • Option for rotating homepage slider emphasizing key call to actions as well as stylized buttons, latest posts (news feed), call to actions, etc. on homepage • Image portfolio or gallery, contact form & map, as well as the option of up to one additional form • Installation of Google Analytics (must be requested by client and the client must provide a working gmail address) • Custom styled blog/news feed, easily usable for client posting & updating • Coming soon page on your domain (if needed)
Consultation & Initial Flat Concepts [8 hrs] Working together with you, we will discuss your style & vision for the website. We will put together an initial flat layout of the homepage, one interior page and a blog page for you to view and approve prior to beginning the building of your website. This includes 2 rounds of revisions. Website Construction [12 hrs] Once the flat concepts are approved, we will move on to the construction of your website. Please note that your website content is required prior to us beginning this stage. We will discuss with you ways to optimize your content. Please also provide us with all photography at this stage. We will also style up to 3 blog posts. Website Revisions [2 hrs] After your website has been fully built, we will provide you with a link (with login information) for you to view. At this time please provide any changes or updates required prior to the launch date. These changes may include images, text, general page layout, etc. Please note that updates requested pertaining to the overall structure and function of the website will incur additional charges. Training [1 hr] Prior or after the launch of your website, we will meet with you to show you how to update and run your website. This training will include how to use your blog, update photos, text, sliders, etc. We will also provide documents reiterating this for you to go back to, if required. At this point you will have complete control of your website updates for the future.
DOMAIN NAMES, HOSTING SERVICES & EMAIL SETUP:
e-commerce website investment $2000+ | time-line 6-8 weeks In addition to everything included with the custom website, an ecommerce website will give you an easy to manage online shop. This includes: • Easy to manage admin panel - Easily upload new products, update fees, prices and taxes, manage and print invoices, add sale notifications, etc. • Product Variations - Your customers will be able to pick variations (size, colours, etc.) of a product within a single product page. • Shop by Colour - Side panel with colour icons available. Allow your customers to view products by certain colours. • Unlimited Product Categories - Easily manage your product categories. Allows you to easily update and group your products. • Currency Conversion - Allows customers to easily switch between different currencies. • Discount Codes - Create your own discount codes for certain or all products. • Paypal, Credit Card, Bank Transfer
Your domain name as well as hosting and email services must be purchased by you, the client. If you require our assistance in this, please let us know. Chickadee design studio is not responsible for server downtime, software issues or any other compatibility issue that may arise after the launch of the site. If you wish to have the website hosted with our partner, Skainet.com, please advise for discounted rates. This contract does not include future WordPress CMS or framework update and compatibility issues for your site. After the launch of the site, all additional work will be quoted and billed at our hourly rate (currently $70 per hour and may be subject to change). Client must provide Chickadee Design Studio with FTP access to their server & hosting services. SITE CONTENT: Please provide all page titles and site content prior to site design. This will help us design the site specific to your needs from the start and will streamline the design and development process. All content will be uploaded by you to our shared dropbox folder. In that folder, you will provide individual page content, images in proper format, size and quality for your website. Any delays to the submission of this information will cause your project to be delayed and, in some cases, may result in additional charges. DEVELOPMENT PROCESS: Once you provide your approval on the design of your site and we go to the development phase, all future changes to the structure and overall look of the site will be billed separately. If you have any questions regarding this phase, please be sure to contact us directly. *Please note, more robust, detailed, or websites with more pages will be quoted accordingly on a case by case basis based on our $70/hr rate.
