Comcast VIP Gateway: Vendor Self Service for Comcast Suppliers

Learning Objectives To understand how Suppliers are involved with the Vendor Self Service portal, and to also learn the Comcast Business Relationship Owner’s (BRO) role in the process This training will review three areas: 1. Vendor Self Service Overview- gain an understanding of the basic Comcast/Vendor Process Flow

2. Comcast BRO’s Roles - gain an understanding of the Comcast employees (BRO) role and responsibilities within the Vendor Process Flow

3. Vendor Registration - gain an understanding of the Suppliers actions/requirements • Both New/Existing Vendors

Vendor Self Service Overview **

Engage HQ Procurement and local buyer groups

Identify and prioritize suppliers

Activate ** supplier in Oracle for EDI Integration

Establish EDI integration or portal usage

Test and certify supplier integration

Business Relationship Owner (Comcast contact) Roles The four main roles for the BRO are: 1) The BRO is the main business contact for the Supplier 2) The BRO provides acknowledgement of Comcast’s interest in establishing a business relationship with the vendor 3) The BRO will also assist with the initial updates for all current vendors 4) All new vendors will be invited by the BRO through email to join the Self Service portal *This invitation will include a link to access the system and establish your password. Once you receive this notification you can begin your registration.
