COGCC GIS Online Layer Information-Internet Site April 29, 2013 The COGCC GIS Online map is an interactive map with a collection of map layers that allows interested parties to view oil and gas wells and other oil and gas facilities within the context of other geospatial data such as land jurisdictions and ownership, roads and railroads, natural features (rivers, lakes, forests, topography, etc.), wildlife areas, water well locations, COGCC Rule and Spacing Order areas, and a number of other relevant features. The map was assembled by the COGCC GIS Group in 2011. This document provides a list of the map layers with a brief description of each layer, the GIS data source, and a date that showing the general age of the GIS data. Hyperlinks to the data sources and other references are provided in the Hyperlinks and References section on page 9 and a graphical display of the layers with each layer group expanded is provided on pages 11 and 12. Users can print those two pages as a quick look guide to all layers in the map. A Well Status legend is on page 10.
