Balmer Lawrie is a market leader in Steel Barrels, Industrial Greases & Specialty Lubricants, Corporate Travel and Logistics Services. M/S BALMER LAWRIE & CO. LTD. invited sealed tenders from reputed organization for supply of Tea /Coffee vending machines having facility of filling of fresh milk and fresh beans (Not Premixed). The vendor would be responsible for supply of Tea Bag, sugar sachet, fresh coffee beans and fresh milk and Tea / Coffee paper cups to cater the service on daily basis. The Scope of work of this tender consists of Tender for daily basis. Supply of Tea / Coffee vending machine along with other materials as mentioned above and no extra cost shall be bourn by Balmer LAwrie & Co. Ltd. for providing Tea / Coffee vending machine. (Annexure – IV) at Corporate Head Office, Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., 21 Netaji Subhas Road, Kolkata- 700001 TENDER SUBMISSION
Tender to be submitted in sealed covers; super scribed “Tender for Supplying tea vending machine at Corporate Head Office, Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd, 21 NS Road, Kol-700001”. Detailed offer complete in all respects as stipulated in the General Conditions of contract should reach the Administration Department, by 3.00PM on 26 /03/2016. VALIDITY OF OFFER
Tenderer shall keep their offer valid for a period of 60 Days from the date of opening of Offer. EARNEST MONEY. Tenderer shall be responsible to issue a PAY ORDER / DEMAND DRAFT in favour of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd for an amount of Rs. 5,000.00 (INR Five thousand only) payable at Kolkata. The said amount will not attract any interest. On completion of formalities and placement of order to the successful bidders, the said EMD shall be refunded. PERIOD OF CONTRACT. The contract should remain valid for 2 (Two) years effective from 01.04.2016. The same may be renewed for another 1 (One) year subject to satisfactory and effective service.
NON-CONFORMANCE

BL reserves the right to reject offers not meeting its Technical requirements and commercial conditions.

It may please be noted that bids of any tender may be rejected if a conflict of interest between the bidder and the Company/ its employees is detected at any stage, our present requirement of Tea / Coffee vending machine is 7 (Seven).
3.3
Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd., shall have the right to cancel the job or reduce/ increase the quantity of machine as per requirement without assigning any reason whatsoever.
4.0
TERMS & CONDITIONS
4.1
Firm PricesOn placement of order, prices will remain firm till completion of the job and there will be no price escalation.
5.0
Delayed Delivery
5.1
In case of delay / delivery of materials, proportionate deduction shall be made from the said month’s total billing amount @ 1% per week.
6.0
Terms of Payment
Payment shall be made after 30 days on submission of the bill and signed challan. 7.0
CUSTOMER REFERENCE. The Tenderer should have trade license and having past experiences of execution of such jobs in Kolkata, is only eligible to participate in the tender and a copy of such WO copy should be attached along with other tender documents.

Special Condition of Tender The special terms & condition as stated hereunder shall be read in conjunction with General Conditions of Tender: 1] No price escalation on cost of materials and labour charges shall be entertained.
2] The rates shall be inclusive of all Taxes, Duties, or any duties levied by the Government or any local authority. Service tax will be at extra as applicable.
3] The Tenderer is responsible to carry out repairing jobs on the same day and within 4 hours from the receiving time of our mail or request over telephones. 4] The Tenderer should have Trade license , VAT Number, PAN Number, Service Tax No. failing which Tender shall not be considered.
