Curriculum Specialty lectures by course faculty on Clinical Ultrasound in Tropical Infectious Diseases will be provided to you in video format one month ahead of the course. As such, we cannot guarantee quantity or type of pathology that may be encountered on scanning rounds. Further, we cannot guarantee the same experience for every participant, as we will have to limit the amount of people who can examine each patient with ultrasound.
Small Group Learning Environment All of the hospital rounds and clinical experience will involve small groups of no more than 6 course participants. It is felt that this will help facilitate learning in a congenial, informal environment while promoting hands-on, practical scanning experience.
