Section 2: Play Equipment

Part 1: GENERAL The aquatic play products shall be suitable for installation in aquatic facilities and public play areas. They shall be specifically designed for use by children and adults and be manufactured by a company that has at least five years experience in the design and engineering of children’s aquatic play areas. 1.1 PRODUCT CONSTRUCTION A. Play Products: All aquatic play products installed above and below grade shall be manufactured from 304/304L stainless steel. The anchoring system and associated fastening hardware shall be manufactured from 304/304L stainless steel. Rigid centricast fiber reinforced (FRP) and/or molded fiberglass, PVC, filament wound tubing, Galvanized Steel, or Aluminum shall not be utilized for any above or below grade play product structures. B. Mounting and Assembly Hardware: All hardware and anchoring systems shall be 304/304L stainless steel. All Play Products and Ground Spay systems shall include an integrated anchoring and leveling system facilitating installation and a flush surface finish. Exposed and accessible hardware shall be tamper resistant, requiring a special tool for removal to deter vandalism and theft. C. Spray nozzles, caps and heads: Shall be manufactured from C360 brass and shall use tamper resistant tools for installation and removal. PVC, Nylon, and Delrin ™, shall not be utilized. All grade level play products are to be furnished with appropriate winterization caps. D. Painted Finish: Shall be a polyester smooth glossy heat-cured powder coat that is UV and chemical resistant and suitable for public spaces. E. Material for Paneling, Signage, Water Deflection, and Toe Guards: All Polyethylene, Polyurethane, Elastomers, and Seeflow Polymers used for paneling, signage or water deflection shall be resistant to chlorinated water and be ultraviolet stabilized to inhibit sunlight fading. F. Safety & Craftsmanship: All accessible edges shall be machined to a rounded finish. All welds shall be watertight, buffed smooth, or polished to a non-visible finish and factory pressure tested. Accessible nozzles and spray heads shall be recessed to ensure a completely safe play environment with no pinch points, head entrapments or protrusion hazards. All products shall be designed in accordance with ASTM F1487 and CSA Z614-98 regulations for public playgrounds.

1.2 PLAY PRODUCT INSTALLATION A. When applicable, templates shall be supplied to facilitate the installation of embedded anchoring equipment. B. All play products shall have electrical grounding studs incorporated into their associated anchoring equipment. All play products shall be grounded by the installer per local codes. C. All installation conduit wiring including electrical supply panel, PVC connections, piping, elbows, tees, play product assembly if required and other items relating to the installation shall be supplied by the general contractor. D. Drawings and Instructions: Product drawings and installation manuals shall be supplied by the manufacturer for ease of installation. 1.3 PRODUCT DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING A. All aquatic play products and associated equipment must be properly wrapped and secured in place while in transport to the project site. Care shall be observed during offloading and handling to prevent excessive stress and abrasions. B. At the site, the play products and associated equipment are to be stored in safe areas, out of the way of traffic and other construction activities, until the actual time of installation. If required, safety barricades or other like precautions must be taken for the protection of public and adjacent property. C. Protective wrapping on the aquatic play features must be left in place until construction work for the Splashpad is complete. 1.4 COMMISSIONING OF THE SPLASHPAD A. Upon completion of construction, the general contractor shall provide the owner/operator adequate training on facility operations and maintenance. The contractor may request that the equipment manufacturer and/or manufacturer’s representative provide on-site start-up and training for the owner/operator. 1.4.1 SPLASHPAD QUALITY ASSURANCE Provide evidence of commitment of quality craftsmanship as demonstrated by the following: Splashpad Manufacturer Qualifications: A. The products shall be designed and produced at a facility owned and directly supervised by the supplier. B. All products shall be shipped from a single source. C. A full time licensed engineer must be on-staff

D. A full time quality control manager must be on-staff 1.5 SPLASHPAD EQUIPMENT WARRANTIES Minimum Warranty periods Splashpad Play Events/Products & Skid Mounted Water Quality Management System Equipment A. A 25 Year Warranty on stainless steel Play Events/Products, stainless steel anchoring systems and aluminum spheres. B. A 10 Year Warranty on the reinforced fiberglass skid, sand filter fiberglass tank and cartridge filter fiberglass tank. C. A 5 Year Warranty on brass components including; spray nozzles, spray caps and spray heads. High-density polyethylene components, polyurethane components, and ultra high molecular weight polyethylene components. The Subterranean vault (enclosure and access hatches), stainless steel automated water distribution manifold, drain boxes, strainers, electrical enclosures, and chemical controllers. D. A 2 Year Warranty on color coatings, stainless steel hardware & moving parts, fiberglass products, Seeflow Polymers, Soft Touch Elastomers (Toe Gaurds), subterranean water containments system, circulation pumps, chemical injection pumps, chlorinator systems, acid feed systems, polyvinyl chloride (PVC); piping, fittings, ball valves, check valves, cartridge elements, pressure gauges, chemical sensing probes, motor starters, electrical relays, terminal blocks, actuated valves, programmable logic controller (PLC controller), time switches, manual switches, transformers, breakers, electrical wiring and connections. E. All warranties are to be managed by the equipment supplier.

1.4 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS A. The manufacturer is required to offer a complete water quality management system to accommodate the specified aquatic play products. This complete Splashpad automation package, consisting of a FRP water containment system, 2 loop water filtration system, automated chemical treatment system, automated water distribution system, Splashpad operational control and failsafe monitoring systems, Motor starter protection circuitry, and a user activated controller to regulate the use of the play events and their hours of operation. B. This water quality management system must be pre-assembled, factory tested, and come complete with all the necessary plumbing, pre-wired control systems, pumps, and solenoid valves. The manufacturer must have the capacity to provide technical documentation, operations and maintenance manuals, and technical support for the entire system. PART 2: PRODUCTS 2.1 AQUATIC PLAY EVENTS A. The contractor shall provide and install the following aquatic play events as

manufactured by VORTEX, 328 Avro St., Montreal, Quebec, Canada H9R 5W5, (514) 694-3868.

B. See attached sheets for VOR-7020.000 Foaming Geyser, VOR-7010.0000 Water Jelly 03, VOR-215.2000 Frog Cannon, VOR-205.2000 Monkey Cannon, VOR109.2000 Dumping Pelican, VOR-8061.4000 Monkey in the Middle, and VOR7382.0000 Raining Buckets. 2.2 SPLASHPAD SYSTEM CONTROLLER A. The Touch Pad programmable logic controller shall be mounted and pre-wired to all Water Quality Management System skid mounded components. Sized according to the number of outputs it is required to control, the programmable logic controller shall be factory programmed with a variety of spray sequences designed according to the requirements of the project. It shall have the flexibility to user modify the sequences using either a transportable memory cartridge or via the Touch Pad user interface. B. A 24hr/7day user programmable time switch, which shall allow the user to set the operational hours of the facility, shall be incorporated into the operating system. The time switch shall have the ability to be programmed with a different time schedule for each day of the week, and up to 2 time schedules per day. C. The operating system shall be capable of interfacing with the supplied automated water chemistry control unit, and other pertinent monitoring equipment and shall display current operating parameters on the touch screen interface. In the event of a chemical or equipment fault the operating system shall disable water flow to the patrons and/or initiate an equipment shut down procedure. D. The operating system shall be supplied with a touch pad user interface with controls for each output, activation device(s), and time switch. These selector switches allow the user to select the operational mode of the components (i.e. Hand, Off and Automatic) E. The operating system shall be housed in a corrosion resistant NEMA 4X rated enclosure, complete with stainless steel lockable latches. F. The operating system shall have the capacity to receive signals from activation devices, operating on 24VDC. G. The operating system shall have the capacity to send signals from the controller PLC to actuated valves operating at 24 VAC. H. The operating system shall have the ability to automatically purge all water lines based on the user selected time and duration (i.e. every day at 5 am). It shall also, be configured to purge all lines after a user defined period of inactivity (i.e. after 4 hours of inactivity). I.

The operating system shall have the ability to display “help menu” topics within the touch pad screen window for each relevant function. i.e. an on screen step by step tutorial for backwashing the sand filter.

J. The operating system shall contain a 120 VAC primary / 24 VAC secondary transformer with built- in electrostatic shield protection. 2.1 ACTIVATION DEVICES

B. The contractor shall provide and install the following activation devices as

manufactured by VORTEX, 328 Avro St., Montreal, Quebec, Canada H9R 5W5, (514) 694-3868. B. See attached sheets for VOR-7399.00 Magic Touch Bollard 02 2.3 ACTIVITY DECK DRAIN (s) A. The contractor shall provide and install the following activation devices as manufactured by VORTEX, 328 Avro St., Montreal, Quebec, Canada H9R 5W5, (514) 694-3868. QTY 2. VOR- 1000.0001 B. The activity deck drain(s) shall be fabricated from non-corrosive and non-tarnishing materials. The grating shall provide an anti-skid surface, with openings no larger that 5/16”, and shall be secured to the drain box with stainless steel tamper resistant hardware. C. The activity deck drain(s) shall be capable of handling 200 GPM flow at a maximum of 1.5 ft/sec, through an 8” PVC side outlet. D. The activity deck drain(s) shall be constructed to accept a removable stainless steel 22 gauge filtration basket, that if so configured, would capture all large debris prior to entering the drain line.

PART 3: EXECUTION 1.0 EXECUTION A. Should the bidder wish to substitute products other than the products specified herein, the bidder shall submit specifications, cut sheets, and performance data, along with an itemization listing each and every deviation from the specifications herein. B. The manufacturer shall furnish the purchaser with at least two sets of complete installation and operating manuals. The installation manual will illustrate the installation of the entire system. It shall describe the start-up procedure and day- to- day operation of the system.

DUMPING PELICAN (or approved equivalent) 1.0 Materials Specifications: 1.1. Stainless Steel Structural Tubing: Shall be type 304/304L, structurally strong, durable, and resistant to corrosive environments. Rigid centricast fiber reinforced (FRP) and/or moulded fiberglass, PVC, filament wound tubing, Galvanized Steel, or Aluminium shall not be utilized for any above or below grade play product structures. 1.2. Brass: Spray nozzles, caps and heads shall be manufactured from C360 brass and shall use tamper resistant tools for installation and removal. They shall be structurally strong and resistance to corrosive environments offering years of consistent spray effects. In addition, as a softer alloy than stainless steel they shall guard the nozzle housing thread integrity. PVC, Nylon, and Delrin ™, shall not be utilized. 1.3. Painted Finish: Shall be a polyester smooth glossy heat-cured powder coat that is UV and chemical resistant and suitable for public spaces. Airbrush graphics are applied over the base powder coating and are to be clear-coated for UV resistance and physical durability. 1.4. Toe Guard: Shall be constructed of Softouch Elastomer developed exclusively for the aquatic play environment which can be stretched around the play product base covering the anchoring assembly hardware from pinch points and protrusions. It shall have flexible rubber like characteristics, a mate highly durable and slip-resistant finish, with excellent UV and chemical resistance. 1.5. Mounting and Assembly Hardware: All hardware and anchoring systems shall be 304/304L stainless steel. Exposed and accessible hardware shall be tamper resistant, requiring a special tool for removal to deter vandalism and theft. 1.6. Safety & Craftsmanship: All edges shall be machined to a rounded edge. All welds shall be watertight, buffed smooth, or polished to a non-visible finish and factory pressure tested. Accessible nozzles and spray heads shall be recessed to ensure a completely safe play environment with no pinch points, head entrapments or protrusion hazards. All products shall be designed in accordance with ASTM F1487 and CSA Z614-98 regulations for public playgrounds.

2.0 Play Product Specifications: 2.1. The Pelican Vor-109.2000: Shall be constructed of stainless steel structural tubing with an outside diameter of 4 ½” inches and a wall thickness of 0.12” inches. The overall height of the structure shall be no less than 153” inches with a head clearance of no less than 109” inches. The main post structure shall be curved with no joints or ripples. The pelican head shall consist of a static beak assembly and a dumping jaw assembly. Both assemblies shall be constructed of high-density fiberglass and shall be painted with an air brushed graphic. Air brushed graphics shall be protected by a UV resistant, hardened, clear- coat finish. The dumping jaw assembly shall be filled with water by an integrated water spout, and shall be counterbalanced by an adjustable system to control the frequency and volume of water dumped. An incorporated drain pilot hole shall prevent the accumulation of stagnate water during non-operational hours. The hydraulic requirements shall be 5-10 gpm @ 10-15 psi. The volume of water dumped shall be no less than ¾ of a US gallon and no greater than 1 ½ US gallons.

3.0 Installation Characteristics: 3.1. Anchoring and levelling Systems: The Stainless Steel Safeswap Anchoring System shall provide the ability to add/remove/interchange select play products without having to incur any additional infrastructure costs. The anchoring system shall have an integrated levelling system facilitating installation and a flush finished to the activity deck surface without any protruding bolts or hardware. The Play Product shall be fastened directly to the Safeswap Anchoring system. The dead and live loads shall be distributed onto the Safeswap Anchoring system flange plate. A neoprene sealing gasket shall provide a water tight seal between the play product flange and Safeswap flange. Mechanical fastening of the Play Products to the activity deck slab shall be prohibited.

3.2. Earth Bonding/Grounding: All Play Products and Ground Sprays are to be equipped with a Grounding Lug and are to be grounded against a lightning strike as per article 680 of the N.E.C.

3.3. Drawings and Instructions: Product drawings and installation manuals shall be supplied by the manufacturer for ease of installation.

FOAMING GEYSER (or approved equivalent) 1.0 Materials Specifications: 1.1. Stainless Steel Structural Tubing: Shall be type 304/304L, structurally strong, durable, and resistant to corrosive environments. Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW): Spray nozzles, caps and heads shall be manufactured from UHMW Polyethylene and shall use tamper resistant tools for installation and removal. They shall be structurally strong and resistance to corrosive environments offering years of consistent spray effects. PVC, Nylon, and Delrin ™, shall not be utilized. 1.3. 2.0 Play Product Specifications: 2.1. Foaming Geyser: The Foaming Geyser shall be constructed of stainless steel with an outside diameter of 3.50” inches and a wall thickness of 0.120” inch. It shall extend 3” inches from the activity deck surface, and shall be wrapped with a toe guard system. A UHMW aerated spray head nozzle shall be mounted flush with the surface of the nose cap. The nozzle system shall be free of finger entrapment hazards. The spray nozzle shall produce an aerated foaming geyser column by drawing air from the atmosphere through the nozzle body into to projected water stream. The hydraulic requirements shall be 8-20 gpm @ 2-5 psi.

3.0 Installation Characteristics: 3.1. Ground Spray Anchoring System: All Ground Spay systems shall include an integrated anchoring and levelling system facilitating installation.

3.2. Earth Bonding/Grounding: All Play products are to be equipped with a Grounding Lug and are to be grounded against a lightning strike as per article 680 of the N.E.C.

2.0 Play Product Specifications: 2.1. Frog Cannon VOR-215.2000: Shall be constructed of 4.5” inch outside diameter Stainless Steel structural tubing with a wall thickness of 0.120” inch and a 60” inch centerline bending. The Frog head shall be constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel sheet metal. The head diameter shall be 11 3/4” inches in diameter, with two 3” inch diameter eyes welded to the head. Two (2) manoeuvring ears shall be welded to the head allowing children to interact with the spray head while ensuring no protrusion or pinch points. A 4” inch solid SAE 660 Bronze 360° degree rotational joint consisting of a stainless steel bearing collar and a Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene spray control collar shall be used to limit the spray zone to 60° degrees, while allowing the head to rotate 360° degrees. The rotational joint shall be free of pinch points and contain no flexible hoses. The center point of the 60° spray zone shall be adjustable. An integrated and recessed nozzle housing welded into the front nose cap shall be threaded to accept a spray nozzle. A brass spray head nozzle shall be mounted flush with the surface of the nose cap. The spray nozzle shall produce a 6-hole particularized soft stream spray effect with 5-10 gpm @ 10-15 psi. All nozzle systems shall be free of finger entrapment hazards. Low consumption nozzles that minimize water usage while maximizing spray effects are also available.

Two (2) manoeuvring ears shall be welded to the head allowing children to interact with the spray head while ensuring no protrusion or pinch points. A 4” inch solid SAE 660 Bronze 360° degree rotational joint consisting of a stainless steel bearing collar and a Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene spray control collar shall be used to limit the spray zone to 60° degrees, while allowing the head to rotate 360° degrees. RAINING BUCKETS (or approved equivalent) 1.0 Materials Specifications: 1.1. Painted Finish: Shall be a heat-cured powder coat that is UV and chemical resistant and suitable for public spaces. Airbrush graphics are applied over the base powder coating and are to be clear-coated for UV resistance and physical durability. 1.3. Toe Guard: Shall be constructed of Softouch Elastomer developed exclusively for the aquatic play environment which can be stretched around the play product base covering the anchoring assembly hardware from pinch points and protrusions. It shall have flexible rubber like characteristics, a matte highly durable and slip-resistant finish, with excellent UV and chemical resistance. 1.4. Mounting and Assembly Hardware: All hardware and Anchoring systems shall be 304/304L stainless steel. Exposed hardware shall be; tamper resistant requiring a special tool for removal to deter vandalism and theft. 1.5. Safety & Craftsmanship: All edges shall be machined to a rounded edge. All welds shall be polished or non-visible, watertight, and factory pressure tested. Nozzles and spray heads shall be recessed to ensure a completely safe play environment with no pinch points, head entrapments or protrusion hazards. All products shall be designed in accordance with ASTM F1487 and CSA Z614-98 regulations for public playgrounds.

2.0 Play Product Specifications: 2.1. Raining Buckets Vor-7382.0000: Shall be constructed of stainless steel structural tubing with an outside diameter of 4 ½” inches and a wall thickness of 0.120”. The raining ring and support arms shall be constructed of stainless steel structural tubing with an outside diameter of 3 ½” inches and a wall thickness of 0.120”. The overall height of the structure shall be no less than 120” inches with a head clearance of no less than 102” inches. Three (3) horizontal support arms extending from the center post shall be welded to a raining ring. The raining ring shall have a total of three (3) dumping buckets, and sixty (60) rain shower nozzles. Each bucket shall be constructed of high density fiberglass, and include an integrated non-visible counter weight system. Each bucket shall be mounted using a tamper resistant stainless steel shaft. The counterweight system and selectable mounting orientation will determine the buckets predominate dumping direction. Each bucket shall have a dedicated fill spout and an incorporated drain pilot hole to prevent an accumulation of stagnate water during nonoperational hours. The combined hydraulic requirements of all three (3) Buckets and sixty (60) rain shower nozzles shall be 75-90 gpm (284-341 lpm) @ 15-20 psi (1.0-1.4 bar). The volume of water dumped from each bucket shall be no less than ¾ of a US gallon and no greater than 1 ½ US gallons.

3.0 Installation Characteristics: 3.1. Anchoring and levelling Systems: The Stainless Steel Safeswap Anchoring System shall provide the ability to add/remove/interchange select play products without having to incur any additional infrastructure costs. The anchoring system shall have an integrated levelling system facilitating installation and a flush finished to the activity deck surface without any protruding bolts or hardware. The Play Product shall be fastened directly to the Safeswap Anchoring system. The dead and live loads shall be distributed onto the Safeswap Anchoring system flange plate. A neoprene sealing gasket shall provide a water tight seal between the play product flange and Safeswap flange. Mechanical fastening of the Play Products to the activity deck slab shall be prohibited.

3.2. Earth Bonding/Grounding: All Play products are to be equipped with a Grounding Lug and are to be grounded against a lightning strike as per article 680 of the N.E.C.

3.3. Drawings and Instructions: Product drawings and installation manuals shall be supplied by the manufacturer for ease of installation.

MONKEY IN THE MIDDLE (or approved equivalent) 1.0 Materials Specifications: 1.1. In addition, as a softer alloy than stainless steel they shall guard the nozzle housing thread integrity. PVC, Nylon, and Delrin ™, shall not be utilized. 1.3. Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW): Spray nozzles, caps and heads shall be manufactured from solid HPDE and shall use tamper resistant tools for installation and removal. They shall have a high resistance to corrosion, UV degradation, and impact resistance. PVC, Nylon, and Delrin ™, shall not be utilized. 1.4. Mounting and Assembly Hardware: All hardware and anchoring systems shall be 304/304L stainless steel. Exposed and accessible hardware shall be tamper resistant, requiring a special tool for removal to deter vandalism and theft. 1.5. 2.0 Play Product Specifications: 2.1. Monkey in the Middle Vor-8061.4000: Shall consist of one (1) gusher activator body and one (1) cylinder spray. The Gusher activator body shall be constructed of stainless steel structural tubing with an outside diameter of 4.50” (114mm) and a wall thickness of 0.12” (3mm). This structural tubing shall be welded to a 6.375” (162mm) outside diameter disk. The gusher activator mechanism consists of an Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW) gusher activator and plug; a brass gusher activator base and cover and MONEL 400 springs. Tamper-resistant fasteners are used to hold all components of the gusher activator body together and rubber gaskets and o-rings prevent leakage. The Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene gusher activator shall have a 36 hole spray pattern angled at 5° (degrees) from vertical. The Cylinder spray shall be constructed with a stainless steel structural tubing with an outside diameter of 1.90” (48mm) and a wall thickness of 0.109” (3mm). It shall be rolled in a circular pattern with a 36” (92cm) centerline diameter with twelve (12) equally spaced 3” (76mm) diameter stainless steel spray head housings welded to it. Each spray head housing shall be fitted with a spray cap assembly consisting of a brass locking ring and an adjustable brass spray sphere. The water effect from each spray head shall produce a single soft stream adjustable from the vertical position to a maximum of 25 degrees from vertical. All nozzle systems shall be free of finger entrapment hazards. Rotating the adjustable spray nozzle 90 degrees from the vertical position sets the spray head to it’s

water tight winterized position. The hydraulic requirements shall be 20-48 gpm (76-182 lpm) @ 5-15 psi (0.4-1.0 bar).

The brass spray head & winter cap shall be threaded into the spray head body using a tamper-resistant tool. Each spray head shall produce an inverted laminar bell spray effect. The hydraulic requirements shall be 30-35 gpm @ 1-2 psi. Tamper resistant winter caps shall be included.

Toe Guard: Shall be constructed of Softouch Elastomer developed exclusively for the aquatic play environment which can be stretched around the play product base covering the anchoring assembly hardware from pinch points and protrusions. It shall have flexible rubber like characteristics, a mate highly durable and slip-resistant finish, with excellent UV and chemical resistance. 1.4. Mounting and Assembly Hardware: All hardware and anchoring systems shall be 304/304L stainless steel. Exposed and accessible hardware shall be tamper resistant, requiring a special tool for removal to deter vandalism and theft. 1.5. Activation Cap: Shall be constructed from impact resistant high density polyurethane. The polyurethane shall be UV resistant, non-porous and non-flammable. 1.6. Handle Sphere: Shall consist of two (2) half spheres and each shall be constructed of high density, high impact 356.2 aluminium, with a heat-cured polyester coat finish. Each half sphere shall be assembled to the other using a tamper resistant stainless steel system. 1.7. Safety & Craftsmanship: All edges shall be machined to a rounded edge. All welds shall be watertight, buffed smooth, or polished to a non-visible finish and factory pressure tested. Accessible nozzles and spray heads shall be recessed to ensure a completely safe play environment with no pinch points, head entrapments or protrusion hazards. 2.0 Play Product Specifications: 2.1. Magic Touch Bollard 02: Shall be constructed of stainless steel with an outside diameter of 4.50” and a wall thickness of 0.120”. It shall have an overall height of 36” above the final grade. It shall consist of one (1) Activation Cap and sensor, with one (1) handle sphere. The activator shall have no moving parts and run on a low voltage electrical supply. It shall be the direct interface between the users of the aquatic play area and the aquatic Play Products. The pre-programmed sequences of the aquatic Play Products shall be activated only when touched by the user. The activation cap shall consist of a high impact resistant protection cap and a low voltage sensor. The protection cap shall be constructed of high- density polyurethane with a diameter of 4”. The polyurethane shall be UV resistant, non-porous and non flammable. It shall be equipped with an integrated threaded housing for the sensor. It shall have a thermoplastic polyester housing and triple shield sensor protection. The sensitivity shall be adjustable with a LED indication. The activation cap shall be secured in place using a locking ring secured with tamper resistant fasteners.

The Activation Bollard shall be fastened directly to the Safeswap Anchoring system. The dead and live loads shall be distributed onto the Safeswap Anchoring system flange plate. A neoprene sealing gasket shall provide a water tight seal between the Magic Touch Bollard and the Safeswap flange. Mechanical fastening of the Activation Device to the activity deck slab shall be prohibited.
