About City Bound Europe Network City Bound Europe is a Network if the work of 8 partners dealing with adventure-based learning from around European Union. Through set of activities (PBA, Training Course, Seminar of Youth Policy and a set of many youth exchanges organized separately by partner organizations) we are:  Raising awareness of common European culture and cultural heritage of Europe among young generation of Europeans from 8 countries,  Building solidarity, understanding and cohesion among them by breaking up national divisions,

language barriers and seeking universal values,  Building skills and capacities of our youngsters (on social skills, resolution, self-development), our youth leaders (on leadership skills and team management) and our organizational staffs (organizational capacities, finances, network management),  Consolidating non-formal learning on international level and raising its social, institutional and formal recognition. Thereby, we are raising the quality of non-formal learning activities, contributing to the

professionalization of youth work all around Europe, developing the methodology of adventurebased learning, by building innovations, sharing ideas and sense of creativity in order to build big, international, influential and professional European Network.

City Bound Berlin youth exchange will take place from 31st of July till 6th of August in capital of Germany.

Few words about Berlin Berlin is the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany and one of its 16 states. With a population of approximately 3.5 million people, it is the second most populous city proper and the seventh most populous urban area in the European Union. Located in north-eastern Germany

on the banks of Rivers Spree and Havel, it is the centre of the Berlin-Brandenburg Metropolitan Region, which has about six million residents from over 180 nations.

Participants In youth exchange will participate 24 youngsters in age 13-17 and 9 youth leaders from Germany, Greece, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic and UK. Please, while choosing participants do not forget to care about gender balance. Also remember about Zero Tolerance Protocol that should be sign by all participants and their parents. Youth leaders are also obliged to obey Zero Tolerance Protocol and should sign it!

All information about participants, their special needs and food requirments should be send on [email protected] till 1st of July 2016! Please, use for it special form that is attached to the email with this Infopack.

Participation fee fin amount of 25 euro will be charged during the exchange.

Travel Costs Travel costs will be reimbursed by bank transfer. Please send your tickets complete and all together by post (we recommend to do it by registered letters) within two weeks after the exchange to:

We need an invoice for flight tickets, boarding passes, bus/train tickets and all tickets for public transport. Each ticket should be sticked separately to an A4 paper. In case of travel tickets paid in a currency which is not €, please attach a currency exchange print from Oanda Currency Conventer The national youth leader or sending organizations should send one letter of reimbursement per country. We cannot reimburse to single participants. 100% of travel costs will be reimbursed up to the limits given by the programme -please, find them in the table.

Venue Project will take place in Abenteuerzentrum im Grunewald, Eicchörncheinsteig 3, Berlin. More information about project site you can find here.

Abenteuerzentrum im Grunewald It is a typical youth centre, so conditions are not that good as in the hotel, but enough to spend great time together and have lots of fun! Whole Centre will be only for us, so we can enjoy it all night long! Rooms will be nationally-mixed, and divided according to the gender. Place is very close to the centre of Berlin, it’s very easy to get there any time by public transport.

How to get to the venue: From SCHOENEFELD airport: Find the S-bahn station Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld Bhf (city train in Berlin). There take the train S45 (direction S Südkreuz) and go to the last station Südkreuz. In Südkreuz change to the train number S41 (direction Ring) and get to the station Halensee. There you need to walk out of the station (there is only one exit) and cross the street in order to get the bus X10 (direction Teltow Stadt) or M29 (Direction Roseneck). By this bus get to the bus stop Roseneck/Teplitzer Strasse. You are almost there, just follow the map below (12 minutes walking).

From TEGEL airport: In front of the airport you need to take the bus 109 (direction Zoologischer Garten). On the bus stop called Adenauerplatz you need to get off and change for the bus X10 (direction Teltow Stadt) or M29 (direction Roseneck). By this bus get to the bus stop Roseneck/Teplitzer Strasse. You are almost there, just follow the map below (up to 12 minutes walking).

From HAUPTBAHNHOF: You need to take train S5 or S7 (direction Spandau or Potsdam) to Zoologische Garten and then bus X10 (direction Teltow Stadt). By this bus get to the bus stop Roseneck/Teplitzer Strasse. You are almost there, just follow the map below (12 minutes walking).

From ZOB (ZENTRALER OMNIBUSBAHNHOF) – Central Bus Station: You need to take the bus 104 (Direction Zoologische Garten)to the bus stop Halensee. Then you need to cross the street in order to get the bus X10 (direction Teltow Stadt) or M29 (Direction Roseneck). By this bus get to the bus stop Roseneck/Teplitzer Strasse. You are almost there, just follow the map below (12 minutes walking).

What to bring and prepare: • presentation of your country and some traditional snacks or sweets for intercultural evening (the way how the evening will look like is totally up to you, if you would like to share some traditional music or dances it’s more than welcome!) • European Health Insurance Card
