Dear Friends & Family, Christmas is right around the corner. Our residents are already bursting with Christmas spirit as they prepare their lists for Santa, sing Christmas carols at their weekly Christian Education gatherings and planning their annual Christmas parties to share in fellowship with family, staff and friends. Our office has been receiving Christmas wish lists from our residents since July and we are very excited for the upcoming Christmas season. We hope that you, your local church, UMW, UMM or youth group are interested in helping us gather gifts to make the Christmas season here at Flat Rock Homes magical for our children and adults. With your help, we can provide gifts to more than 90 of our clients at their annual Christmas parties and on Christmas morning; making this Christmas one of joy and filled with peace, love and hope! Enclosed you will find a wide variety of gifts that can be purchased for our children. You are also welcome to send monetary donations to help us purchase these items. If any monies are left, they will go towards meeting the ongoing medical, therapeutic and programmatic needs of our residents, in line with our mission and ministry. If you and/or your group are interested in volunteering at Flat Rock helping wrap gifts and prepare for Christmas festivities, please let us know when you are available and we would welcome your help. For all donations of items, please collect them unwrapped and deliver them or have them mailed to Flat Rock Homes by Friday, November 20, 2015.
