The Role: CEO, Bloom Education

Responsibilities:

Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, the CEO will be responsible for developing Bloom Education (BE) as a major player in the UAE and wider MENA region K-12 and early years education sector.

The CEO is responsible for leading the development and execution of Bloom Education’s long-term strategy with a view to creating shareholder value. More specifically, the duties and responsibilities of the CEO include the following:

Lead, in conjunction with the Board, the development of Bloom Education’s strategy;

Oversee implementation of Bloom Education’s Company’s long and short term plans in accordance with Bloom Education’s strategy;

●●

Ensure Bloom Education is appropriately organized and staffed to enable it to achieve its strategic objectives;

●●

Grow the business across the MENA region with a significant roll out of schools – either directly or through joint ventures for new ‘greenfield operations’, as well as through investments and acquisitions.

Ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place;

●●

Ensure effective and profitable management of the various schools in the portfolio.

Reporting line: This position reports to Chief Executive Officer of Bloom Properties. Experience: Substantial and senior level leadership experience in one or more of the following sectors: private education, private healthcare or hospitality.
