Except for unknown breeding horses or those without any breed specified in their passport, all the placed horses are taking part in the breeding challenge whatever their native country and the nationality of their rider. The breed that is taken into account for the Trophy is the one that is written in the passport, except in the case of the presentation of an official registration document to a stud-book or to a registry, to be shown with the passport at the time of the first vet inspection. Foreign horses named as Part-Arabian are assimilated to the french HalfArabian horses, horses they compete with. The qualified Arabian-Barb horses compete with the Barb horses. No entry is required to take part in the Breeding Trophy. The first placed horse in this class obtains one point, the second placed : two points, and so on until the last placed one. The score for a given breed is obtained by the sum of the points of the three best placed horses. The breed that gets the minimum number of points wins the Trophy ; then the other breeds are placed following the ascending order of the scores, while the breeds that will only count two placed horses will come after. A work of art will be awarded to the three horses that will share the victory of the Breeding Trophy. A souvenir will also be awarded to the three horses representing the second and third placed breeds. The chairman of WAHO, the doctor Hans NAGEL will personally give the prizes. Also, a dotation is expected for the horses that are placed. The prize-giving of the breeding challenge will immediatly follow the one of the 7 and 8 Year-Old World Championship. The riders that are placed in the Breeding Trophy will present themselves with their horse in hand.
