atom-xtreme The ATOM-Xtreme range is a totally new concept in design engineering and has a revolutionary triple micro pawls lockout system and a full internal braking mechanism. Running on a non-fibrous brass alloy compound brake the device does not suffer from contamination or degradation caused by moisture, grease and grime. The triple pawls are rapid yet smooth to engage and because there are three independent pawls activating, not only is there a fail safe the device balances out too and reduces ratchet wear. Additionally the device has a short length of webbing retained via an end stop to ensure even if you take a fall at full extension the ATOM-Xtreme can still decelerate the fall safely.

Also available with a thermally insulated protective cover. The Xcalibre OS range is totally unique in its design concept and reverses the formula currently being used by the industry today. Current designs are yet to deal with the inherent issues of condensation caused by trapped air in sealed cavities, corrosion is not visible or detectable. Our design approach was to look at the problem from a different perspective, and instead of locking in the condensation and stopping water getting out we allowed it. Stainless steel components were up-rated to type 316 stainless steel and all aluminium parts with a hard anodised finish.
