Entry requirements This TAFE NSW delivered Vocational Education and Training (TVET) course is available for students who are enrolled in school studying for their NSW Board of Studies Higher School Certificate. Students should be in either Year 11 or Year 12.

This TVET course is a NSW Board of Studies developed course.

Vocational outcomes

When you finish, you will have the educational requirements for a Certificate of Registration to work within a Real Estate or a Stock and Station agency in NSW. Additionally, the skills attained will enable you to assist with the management and marketing of residential property as well as working in a corporate support role in a property office. This TVET course will be of benefit to people who are interested in working in the various sectors of the property industry.

This qualification is recognised by the industry as including the educational requirements for the issue of a Certificate of Registration for real estate salesperson. Students must successfully complete the required four units to achieve this. Students may elect to complete units that will allow them to apply to the Office of Fair Trading for a Certificate of Registration in Stock and Station Salesperson or Strata/Community Registered Manager.

Assist in marketing properties for lease. This unit provides participants with the skill to assist in preparation of marketing activities to promote properties for lease.
