Pilgrimage Cruises through the Footsteps of St. Paul Celebrate his teachings and Pauline Spirituality Three Unique Itineraries:

Apostle Paul & the Book of Revelation Alive Cruises Jun 13 & Jul 04, 2008, Mar 25 & Nov 07, 2008 DAY 1: DEPART FROM USA for a transatlantic flight to Athens. DAY 2: ARRIVAL ATHENS – EMBARKATION DAY 3: THESSALONIKI – VERIA Thessaloniki-Visit the Walls, The House of Jason

where St. Paul lived and the Agora where he preached. Continue to Veria-ancient Beroea- to the memorial commemorating St. Paul’s preaching to the local Jews in 54 AD. DAY 3: KAVALA – PHILIPPI Visit the site where St. Paul, Timothy and Silas landed on the coast of Thrace. From there, visit Philippi where St. Paul lived, preached and was imprisoned and the Baptistery of Lydia, where the first baptism on European soil took place. DAY 4: DIKILI – PERGAMON A tour from Dikili (our port) is to Pergamon, the great city of Bergama and a city of the Book of Revelation. DAY 5: KUSADASI - SARDIS – MILETUS Arrive at Kusadasi, a beautiful town where we will remain docked for the next two days. We visit Sardis, the most picturesque of the Seven Churches. Continue for a tour of Miletus where St. Paul delivered his touching farewell address the elders of Ephesus and predicted his death. DAY 6: EPHESSUS – SMYRNA Visit Ephesus, the most impressive archaeological site in Turkey, including the Great Amphitheatre where St. Paul spoke to the Ephesians. Proceed to Biblical Smyrna, birthplace of the famous epic poet, Homer. DAY 7: PATMOS Patmos, the “Holy Island” for the Christian faith. This is the place where the apocalyptic Revelation of John was written during his exile from the Roman Empire. We visit the cave and the monastery of St. John. DAY 8: DISEMBARKATION - ATHENS – CORINTH Disembark the cruise ship and begin the tour of Athens. Visit among other masterpieces of the “Golden Age” the Acropolis, the agora and the Mars Hill where St. Paul taught. Continue to ancient Corinth. Return to Athens. Overnight. DAY 9: DEPART ATHENS Transfer to the airport and fly back home.

DAY 7: AT SEA; TEACHING AND FELLOWSHIP Relax on board or get together with others in prayer, Christian entertainment and Bible studies DAY 8: JERUSALEM Our ship docks today in Ashdod (Israel). Ascend the mountains of Jerusalem from Scopus to Mt of Olives for an outstanding breathtaking view of the city across the Kidron Valley to the Eastern Gate; see Chapel of Ascension, Pater Noster and Dominus Flevit. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane, cross Mount Moriah viewing the Tombs of Absalom, Saint James and Zacharia. Continue to Mount Zion, the Upper Room and Tomb of King David. Enter the Old City through St Stephen's Gate; Visit the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus cured an invalid man; continue to the Praetorium, proceed to the Temple Mount to view the Mosque of Omar and visit the Western Wall. Continue through the picturesque market streets past the Citadel of David and exit through the Jaffa Gate, passing the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on the way. End the day with a quiet prayer at the Garden Tomb. Return to our ship for sailing. DAY 9: ASHDOD/GALILEE/MT OF BEATITUDES/CAPERNAUM/TABGHA/JORDAN VALLEY/DEAD SEA We rise early and drive to Galilee to board our boat for a cruise on the Sea. We visit the Jesus Boat, then we have a short tour of the Kibbutz. Continue along the Sea of Galilee area where much of the Galilean Ministry took place. Here were the homes of the disciples James, Simon, John and Andrew. We then proceed to visit. Visit Capernaum, where Jesus preached in the synagogue. After lunch in St. Peter's fish on the shores of the Sea of Galileee, we drive down the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea where we will have time to float on the Sea. Passing Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, we continue to Ashdod. DAY 10: AT SEA; TEACHING AND FELLOWSHIP Relax on board or get together with others in prayer, Christian entertainment and Bible studies. DAY 11: SANTORINI Great poets have sung its praises, a 4.000 year old history. And the eternal rock continues to stand, strong and majestic, rising proudly from the sea and guarding well the secrets of Atlantis... DAY 12: DISEMBARK, PIRAEUS – DEPART Disembark the cruise ship at the port of Piraeus/Athens and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

DAY 1: DEPART FROM USA Depart from the USA for transatlantic flight to Athens DAY 2: ARRIVAL ATHENS – EMBARKATION DAY 3: AT SEA Enjoy your cruise in the spirit of Christian fellowship, lectures, Christian music, various activities and international entertainment. DAY 4: MALTA – VALLETTA Dock this morning on the island of Malta. You'll explore Valletta, a beautiful city that reflects Malta's rich cultural heritage. From the Grand Harbour Quay, drive to the ramparts where you begin a walking tour viewing some of the palatial inns and residences of the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem DAY 5: SICILY Dock this morning on the island of Sicily where St. Paul lived and preached. You'll enjoy a spectacular view of Mt. Etna as you explore the town of Syracuse, once an important Greek colony known as the "most beautiful of all cities". In Syracuse, you can see Greek and Roman buildings everywhere in the city. DAY 6: CIVITAVECCHIA - ROME (Imperial Rome) This morning you will discover Imperial Rome. You will experience the glory of Imperial Rome when you visit the Coliseum, famous as a place of spectacle and death. See the Circus Maximus, built during the reign of Nero. This huge stadium was able to seat 250,000 spectators for chariot races and other spectacles. See the Roman Forum, an ancient meeting place, market place, religious and political centre. View the Arch of Titus that commemorates Titus' conquest of Judea. You'll visit the Mamertina Prison, where it is believed that both St. Peter and St. Paul were imprisoned. DAY 7: CHRISTIAN ROME You'll discover the Vatican Museum. Enter the Sistine Chapel and view Michelangelo's frescoes, which have been restored to their full, colourful glory. Tour St. Peter's Basilica where Michelangelo's "Pieta" will be just one of many highlights. Travel along the famous Apian Way. Walk through the Catacombs of San Sebastiano. Visit Tre Fontane, where Apostle Paul was beheaded. Walk through Via Del Corso, Piazza de Spagnia, and enjoy the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Piazza Navona. DAY 8: NAPLES & POMPEII In the morning, your ship will dock in Naples. Naples is built at the place of Potsuola, the port where St. Paul docked on his way to Rome. Journey inland to ancient Pompeii where you will visit the spectacular ruins that were covered by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The city remained buried and undiscovered for almost 1500 years until excavation began in 1748.
