Any beverages taken into the hotel by a guest attending a function will be confiscated and the guest will be asked to leave the premises as this is not permitted within the liquor licence of the hotel. SIA registered security may perform random searches

Payment can be made by cash, credit card or cheque (please note one cheque per company). We will require photographic identification for any cash payment of £1,000 or more.

Bar accounts can be arranged prior to the date of your event with credit card details provided.

The total balance outstanding is required no later than Monday 3rd November 2014. If the balance is not received by this date the booking will be automatically released. Bookings made after this date will only be accepted with full payment and pre-order. Whilst every consideration will be made to accommodate your seating and room preference, these unfortunately cannot be guaranteed. Parties of 12 or less may be asked to share a table. Parties of 12 or more may be allocated more than one table.

Cancellation policy In the event of a cancellation by Thistle Middlesbrough an alternative date will be offered or a full refund given (by cheque) without liability to the hotel or Thistle Hotels. Deposits, part payments and full payments are non-refundable and nontransferable under any circumstances. We recommend that you take out event insurance to cover you in the case of cancellation.
