our facilities Arana Leagues Club hosts two modern, self-contained function rooms situated upstairs from the Main Club, these rooms allow for privacy for you and your guests. Guests are also welcome to utilise the internal balcony for pre-dinner drinks and canapes, while remaining separate from patrons of the Club.

the Foundation Room The largest of our rooms, the Foundation Room is air-conditioned and contains private bathroom facilities and a fully functioning bar. Lighting levels are adjustable to allow for a variety of situations.

Arana Leagues Club Functions Policy

By paying a deposit you are agreeing to ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW Booking Confirmation and Deposit A deposit of $250.00 is required to confirm all function bookings. The Club reserves the right to cancel any tentative booking that has not been confirmed within fourteen (14) days of the reservation being made.

Responsible Service of Alcohol Responsible Service of Alcohol applies to all functions. All guests under the age of 18 must have a guardian remain in the function at all times during their stay. House policy available on request.

Cancellations We realise that circumstances may occur which would make it necessary for a function to be cancelled; in such an event, written notice is required for all cancellations. All refunds will be subject to the room being rebooked. • Notification in writing up until two (2) months prior to the scheduled event – full refund. • Notification in writing up until two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled event – 50% refund. • Notification in writing within two (2) weeks of the scheduled event – no refund.

Advice of Final Numbers and Details The Club’s Function and Events Coordinator should be notified of all final details including menus, beverage arrangements, entertainment, audio visual requirements, room set up and running schedule fourteen (14) days prior to the event. Seating plans (if applicable) must be provided 72 hours prior to the commencement of your function. A guaranteed minimum number must be advised 72 hours prior to the function which will confirm the minimum number to be invoiced; only increases in guest numbers will be accepted after this point. Arana Leagues Club shall not be required to cater for more than a 10% increase to number of guests confirmed.

Menu Selections and Price Variations Our Menu Packages offer a wide and varied selection. It is necessary for the Club to have a minimum of fourteen (14) days notice of the menu selection to ensure your requirements are met. Although every effort is made by the Club to hold menu prices as printed, menu prices may vary slightly on occasion at the discretion of management. Special menus can be tailor designed to suit any dietary requirement.

Surcharges All function packages are based on a minimum of guests (except where noted). A surcharge applies if numbers are less than the required minimum number of guests; please see individual packages for minimum number requirements. A surcharge of 25% is applicable on room hire and menu prices to functions being held on a public holiday. A surcharge of 10% is applicable on room hire and menu prices to functions being held on a Sunday.

Food and Beverage Policy and Licensing Due to the nature of the Club’s license and policies, we are unable to permit patrons, guests or invitees to bring liquor or food onto the premises. Likewise, no food or beverage can be removed from the premises. Celebration Cakes are exempt from this rule; a limit of one cake per function applies.

Entry Requirements Guests attending your function are welcome to enter the premises primarily for that purpose. If your guests would like to utilise the Club’s many other facilities, they must satisfy the Conditions of Entry requirements as governed by Liquor Licensing Laws and the Responsible Service of Alcohol House Policy.

Equipment and Entertainment All equipment and entertainment provided by the client must have prior permission from the Club. It is advised that a time be scheduled prior to any function to ensure compatibility of equipment and software. No responsibility will be taken by the Club if data is incompatible.

Property and Damages Although The Arana Leagues Club undertakes all due care, we do not take responsibility for any items that have been left behind, lost, stolen or damaged during a function. Organisers are financially responsible for any damage to the Club’s property and equipment before, during or after a function, along with any damages to equipment hired for use during a function.

Decorations Room set up is as described on your run sheet; you are welcome to supply additional decorations to compliment your chosen theme. Please check with your Functions Coordinator before attaching fixtures to Arana Leagues Club property.

Payment for catering account is required with the advice of the final numbers- a minimum of 72 hours prior to your function. Your beverage account is required to be paid for at the completion of the function. Payment may be in the form of cash or credit card.

Special Conditions Regarding 21st Birthday Parties • •

$200.00 for services of Club Security Personnel. A Security Guard will be present for the duration of the function, but may be called upon in the event of an emergency elsewhere in the Club. A minimum spend of $500.00 for catering applies.
