¡Bienvenido a Havana! Welcome everyone, to our Havana Nights Auction, a night of fun and fabulous prizes all to benefit our school! As an independent Waldorf school, tuition alone does not cover all of our operating expenses, making this Auction vital to our success. Our Auction provides invaluable support to our Faculty, students and programs, bringing inspired Waldorf education to El Dorado County. This event would not be possible without our amazing volunteer team, the support of our community, the generous donors, sponsors and guests. Thank you all for helping to make this event a night to remember! We’ve all worked hard and now it is time for the fiesta! Enjoy the party and bid to support our school. Muchas gracias, Sharyn Mairani, 2014 Auction Chair

Sign Up Section Sign up to participate in these events — no bidding! 400 PRIVATE WINE TASTING, FOOD PAIRING AND TOUR AT CANTIGA WINEWORKS Come enjoy a private tasting with winemaker and CSWS dad, Rich Rorden, in the cellar and gardens of Cantiga Wineworks! Cantiga crafts natural, low-sulfite, non-malolactic wines that are highly sought after by health minded wine lovers, particularly those with sensitivities or allergies. The wines are made in a classic European style for the dinner table and food pairing is a Cantiga specialty. You will taste barrel samples and current releases, paired with an exquisite array of gourmet tapas (small plates) prepared by co-owner, Christine Rorden. End the day with a sunset stroll through the vineyard, wine glass in hand. Cantiga rarely offers cellar tours, so this is a rare opportunity to get a backstage glimpse into a unique winemaking operation. Cantiga Wineworks is located in Somerset, within the Fair Play Appellation. Event will be held Friday, May 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. (Rain date: June 6 - same time.) Must be 21 years or older to attend! Up to twelve participants.

Avoid Long Lines at Check- Out with Auctionpay   As was the case in prior years, at this year’s Auction we will be using a system called Auctionpay. Auctionpay is an easy-touse credit card processing system that streamlines the guest registration and check-out process. Most importantly, Auctionpay helps streamline the Auction experience for guests and volunteers. Guests are encouraged to use Auctionpay because they will arrive happy and leave happy, knowing that they do not have to stand in long check-out lines. Here’s how it works:

At check-in, if guests plan to use a credit card to pay for their purchases, including drinks and raffle tickets, it will be swiped at this time. It’s just like checking into a hotel. If you do not wish to purchase items with a credit card, we will honor all checks and cash beginning at 10 pm. If you need to leave before 10 pm, please pay using Auctionpay or arrange to have a friend pay for your items. With Auctionpay, the guest signs a receipt and receives a copy, eliminating the need to see the cashier at the end of the event. Auctionpay guests may proceed directly to check-out and bagging following the Live Auction to pick up their items. For cash and check guests, you will need to pick up your bid sheets and pay for your items beginning at 10 pm. A receipt listing your total purchases for the evening will be mailed to you seven to ten days after the Auction.
