Message from The Chairman - Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh

The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) is proud to make available to its clients and prospective students a host of educational programs. Through the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University (TAGI-UNI) and its partnerships with highly accredited universities, we are able to bring to our students and clients a variety of online academic, language, and professional development courses. TAGI-UNI is based on the belief that education is a human right and not a privilege to the few who can afford to travel to seek quality education abroad. Our major training arm, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Training (TAGI-Train), provides face to face training courses and programs through its affiliated professional societies and its offices in all Arab countries. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) is the largest global group of professional service firms in the fields of accounting, management consulting, education and training, intellectual property, legal services, information technology, capacity building, credit information, and legal translation. TAG-Org is an affiliate of the World Bank, the Register of Accountants and Auditors (Washington), and the UN Center for Transnational Corporations. Employing multidiscipline professionals and operating out of 80 offices worldwide, TAGOrg offices were established to serve the Arab countries and foreign firms interested in conducting business in the Arab region. Final Examination

• The examination is computer-based and can be taken at CIMA accredited assessment centers throughout the world (TAGI-TRAIN Centers). • Students will need to pass an electronic final assessment in all four modules to gain the Diploma certificate. The exam will be one-hour in length and will contain multiple-questions assessment for each module. • Each assessment has between 40 and 50 multiple choice questions, depending on the number of assessment criteria in the module. • Students can sit for each assessment as many times as it takes to pass. • The pass mark for each assessment is 65%.

Examination and Study Languages

CIMA Diploma in Islamic Finance is available in both English and Arabic languages.

Examination Fees

Islamic Finance Diploma is based on packages. The complete package costs GBP990 and includes all learning, revision and examination materials. This includes: • Four comprehensive study guides • Two exams attempts for each module • Online support material Each further re-sit of an exam, after the two attempts, will cost an additional GBP60. If a candidate registers for one module, the fees will be GBP 275 for each module.

The program consists of three main levels: 1) Commercializing Technology through the Power of IP Licensing- Level One This level is comprised of 8 training hours and designed for those who do not have previous experience in licensing. It covers the basics of IP and licensing, including the basics of IP from a business, commercial, and legal perspective, in addition to evaluation methods and the foundations and principles of negotiation.
