We would like to welcome you to Greenslopes Mall and thank you for your interest in casual leasing at our Centre. The casual leasing is designed to enhance the current tenancy mix and offer further variety to Greenslopes Mall customers.

Casual Leasing Displays

All Casual Leasing displays must be set up and be in operation no later than 8.30 am and lessee’s may not close or remove merchandise prior to the close of the Centre (5.30pm weeknights). Displays may not be shut down for any period of time while the Centre is open to the public. Each Lessee must have a complete inventory of stock on hand daily. Should you require additional storage space or have special needs, please contact the Centre Management Office, where we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Display Presentation

The appearance and presentation of your display is essential to your business’s success! You should be imaginative and inspire those impulse shoppers! Suggestions of display improvement may be requested by a Centre Management representative. Failure to comply, with professional display requirements result in termination of the Agreement.

Display Location Leasing Enquiries

The location of the casual leasing displays are at the sole discretion of the Centre Management representative, and is subject to change whenever Management determines it is in the best interests of the shopping centre.

Security

The security of merchandise and valuables overnight is the lessee’s responsibility and money should not be left with your display. Terms And Conditions (1) Your copy of the Mall Space License Agreement must be held at your display at all times for the duration of the agreement, and must be produced if requested by Greenslopes Mall security or Centre Management. (2) No soliciting or approaching customers within the Centre is allowed. Customers must approach your display or show an interest before they are addressed.

(3) No handing out of pamphlets or brochures without the approval of a Centre Management representative. Pamphlets are not to be distributed around the Centre or in the Car park, but rather customers collect these from your display.

(4) The height restriction for all displays is 1.5metres.

(5) Spruiking is not permitted unless specifically included in the written agreement Noise emanating from your display may be minimal, but is to be first approved by Centre Management.

(6) Signage and ticket writing must be of a professional standard and not hand written. (7) Your trading name must be clearly displayed at all times. No posters are permitted to be posted anywhere else in the Centre or on walls near your display without prior approval from Centre Management. (8) Set up and dismantling of displays must be carried out outside of normal trading hours, unless specifically included in the written agreement.

(9) A copy of your Public Liability Insurance Policy (minimum $10 million cover) must be provided with the Mall Space License Agreement and is to indemnify the Lessor, PJ SPIRA & Westley Nominees. (10) Your display and merchandise must be confined within the specified area shown. (11) The display area is to be kept tidy and free of litter, personal effects, unsightly debris and boxes at all times. (12) Display materials such as display boards, barrier ropes, extension cords, are the sole responsibility of the display holder. Extension cords must not run along common parts of the Centre and the supply of electricity to the display is to be agreed prior to set up. (13) No fixtures are to be attached to any furniture or surrounding surfaces (i.e. walls, pillars) but may be free standing or leaning, as long as no damage can be caused to Centre property. Any damage caused as a result of the display is to be repaired by the lessee immediately, at the lessee’s cost. (14) Any contact details obtained through your Greenslopes Mall display may NOT be used for mailing lists or any other purpose after the end of your Greenslopes Mall display.

About Greenslopes Mall The Greenslopes Mall shopping centre, which has been serving the needs of its local community for more than 25 years, is undergoing an exciting new refurbishment to cater for the area’s changing demographics. The centre is set on a prominent 1.45ha site at 700 Logan Road at Greenslopes and is the dominant retail centre for the suburb and in close proximity to the Greenslopes Private Hospital and associated medical precinct. Located approximately six kilometres southeast of the Brisbane CBD, Greenslopes Mall first opened its doors in 1986 and is home to the suburb’s only Coles Supermarket. The centre features a total of 9,703sq m of retail space anchored by Coles, Queensland Transport, plus 34 specialty shops, including a range of national and local businesses such as Crazy Clarks, Suncorp Bank, BWS, Jetts and Michel’s Patisserie. The centre also includes parking for 585 cars including over 380 undercover carparks and is serviced 7 days a week by local bus, taxi and train connections.

Trade Area Demographics Primary Catchment Area (PCA) is the area from which Greenslopes Mall draws the majority of its trade. Residents of this area would regard the Greenslopes Mall as their primary destination for convenience and weekly shopping. The PCA includes the areas of Greenslopes and Holland Park.

The Primary Catchment Area demonstrates a distinct profile linked to high instances of medium density dwellings and the area’s links to employment within the Greenslopes Hospital and medical practices. » With almost 45% of dwellings being units and attached dwellings, there are also a heightened proportion of those who are renting (45.3%) compared to Greater Brisbane (33.3%) as at the 2011 Census. » Professionals dominate the catchment’s employment profile with 39.2% of residents aligning with professional occupations compared to only 22.2% in Greater Brisbane reflective of proximity to the CBD and the presence of the Greenslopes Hospital. » Workforce participation rates are particularly high, reflective of the prominence of those in working age groups. » The PCA also had higher instances of lone persons and group households further suggesting that the area is undergoing gentrification with young, mobile, time-poor professionals with significant disposable income. » Vehicle ownership is lower than that of other Catchment Areas, indicative of a need for conveniently located facilities and a propensity to top-up shop frequently for a small basket of goods. Secondary South Catchment Area (SSCA) has been defined to include the areas of Holland Park West, Mt Gravatt East, Wellers Hill and Tarragindi.
